I don't see how they can score with Highlands without the benefit of turnovers. I don't think they can possess the ball long enough to win the battle that way either. But I hope it's a good test for Highlands and that Ashland represents themselves well. The defense of the Tomcats will be led by senior D-end Cade O'Bryan. He's a horse, high motor and stout.

Iam sure Highlands two platoon system will cause Ashlands problems as well.

I counted 6 boys that play both sides of the ball for Ashland. This includes 3 O-lineman (2 play DL, 1 LB), the TE (LB), a WR and a RB.

 

Ashland is big up front, smallish but quick in the backfields.

Because both HHS and Johnson Central are #1 seeds. In a situation where two #1 teams play, the even district team gets home field in even numbered years. Johnson Central is District 8 and we are District 7, so we travel this year. But if Cov Cath wins, they are a #2 seed, so we would get to play at home against them.

It is there year to travel to that district. It rotates every year....08, 10, now 12 if JC wins.
