October 30, 201213 yr I agree that all campaign items should be made in America. It doesn't matter whether it is made in China or Indonesia, if it is not made in America, it is wrong. That is why we have to make it so manufacturing and buying in America is cost effective. But the tax structure and regulations making competitive products in America prohibitive. Having said this, with all the millions of dollars that these campaigns collect, they should suck up the cost difference and buy American.

When I took over production of one of our product lines, I moved production to the US. When I shop at Wally World I look through all of the products to see if any are US made. That doesn't mean I won't buy foreign, but only if I can't find US made. I specify US steel. Frankly, I don't understand people that don't care where it is made.
