It's not like WSU was a Juggernaut the last 3 years before Leach got there. Good riddance to bad Prima Donnas.

The guy is a wacko...and a wacko with a 2-8 record this year. If he can't win in the PAC 12 how is he going to win in the SEC?

I don't know much about Dykes. I think getting Smart would be huge, but I don't think that is likely.

As I've said in the other UK coaching thread, I would wager a large sum of money that Dykes is not at UK next year. That's just a gut feeling.

Dykes might not come to UK because we wouldn't be able to bring Franklin. I think he is pretty happy with his OC and would want to keep him. I also don't think Franklin wants to be a HC again and is happy being an OC.

What a lot of people don't know about Dykes is that he has it made at LaTech. Yes, it would be nice to coach in the best conference in the country, but would it be nice to coach in the SEC where your sport plays 2nd fiddle?

Also, is there really any pressure at LaTech? I wouldn't think so.

I'll also give you a name to research: James Davison. He alone is "worth" staying at LaTech.

Dykes and Franklin have an awesome relationship. Could Dykes pack up and leave him behind for the UK job? Sure, but I don't see it happening. They may make a move, but it won't be to UK in my opinion.

Well mainly because you are ignoring the fact that he went to little Lubbock Texas and beat Oklahoma and Texas. WSU is not his program yet. Those players were not recruited by him. Those players have not won before he got there. Its a snapshot. His record this year means nothing. You may want to hit the wako argument harder because his track record says he would win at Kentucky.
