BigGreenHorse Posted October 4, 2012 Posted October 4, 2012 Obama the clear decisive winner tonight! Mitt may drop out after that spanking.
Bluegrasscard Posted October 4, 2012 Posted October 4, 2012 Over already???....Apollo 13 on AMC.... Pocket protectors over Presidents...
John Anthony Posted October 4, 2012 Posted October 4, 2012 You have to be kidding me right? Romney had a response ready for everything. Obama pulled out the im not perfect but ill fight my hardest in his first debate.
futurecoach Posted October 4, 2012 Posted October 4, 2012 Obama the clear decisive winner tonight! Mitt may drop out after that spanking. I am someone who has been more behind Obama, however I must admit Mitt Romney did very well tonight. However the President did well enough to, to where it was not like Romney blew it out of the water. Romney presented a lot of good ideas, but what concerns me is the fact on how he seems to flip flop on things. He is not even President and tonight he started to preach a little bit of a different plan that what he had been saying. It was like he was trying to say just what the people would want to hear. Also in Romney's plan it all depends on creating new jobs, his whole plan on everything seems to go back to that. So if he is unable to create a lot of new jobs, his whole plan basically sinks. So that is worrisome. The same could have been said about Obama 4 years ago though, saying things that people just wanted to hear but no way he could follow through on all of it. So for me I still at the moment am going with Obama, because I believe he is the lesser of the two evils. He at least knows now what it is like in office, and how you can't get all the plans you want to happen. So I feel like he would be better in his 2nd four years, than Romney would be in his first 4 years.
madman Posted October 4, 2012 Posted October 4, 2012 These debates are useless. Same crap over and over.
Birdsfan Posted October 4, 2012 Posted October 4, 2012 When even MSNBC is saying that Romney won, that really says something! They're just sitting there stunned. This was Kennedy/Nixon all over again.
Michael Corleone Posted October 4, 2012 Posted October 4, 2012 Bill Mahar agrees with MSNBC. Obama made very little eye contact.
Xtiger69 Posted October 4, 2012 Posted October 4, 2012 Unless you are deaf and dumb Romney clearly won hands down!

futurecoach Posted October 4, 2012 Posted October 4, 2012 Unless you are deaf and dumb Romney clearly won hands down! No doubt he won. No doubt he presented some great ideas. However what is concerning is the fact that hsi plan that he was talking about tonight, was different from the plan he has been saying on the trail. Even these analysis people are saying he did change his tone on things he had been saying. Which worries me and makes sound like he was just saying what people wanted to hear. Romney won the debate just like most people do in the first debate against the current President. However it was not a uppercut blow he probably needed to make on the President.
BigGreenHorse Posted October 4, 2012 Author Posted October 4, 2012 Mitt lost because not once did he give his plan, release his taxes or say anything that would make anyone think he could be trusted!:jump:
