Yea, it'll be different.

The whole phone is going to be redesigned so it's hard to imagine that the outlets on it would stay the same.

What about the millions of devices that are made for the current fitting? No way to dock the new I to old dock stations?? Like my Bose speaker?

They always release one week after reveal. Preorders usually start that day.

I skipped the 4s because it wasn't all that much of a different phone than the 4.

 

This one is supposed to be about as big of a change as when they went from the 3GS to the 4.
