Congrats to Danville :thumb:. They wanted it more and deserved the win. Danville's D really suprised me and IMO that was the difference and won the game for them. They where able to control the line of scrimmage and pretty much stop Boyle's running game. The Ads where the better team tonight and just wanted the win more. This Boyle team is not as deep as Boyle teams in the past and just showing up is not going to get them a win this year. This loss hurt their pride more than anything, but has no bearing for seeding in the playoffs.

Gut check time for Boyle, how are they going to handle this loss? :idunno: Doesn't get any easier next week!

nice win Ads way to gut it out.

Great job Danville. Big time win :thumb:

Way to go ADS, you guys surprised me. I was going to be happy with keeping it close but you guys played your butts off. When Boyle made a big play and came back you didn't let up. In my opinion Danville's line made the difference. Also I was really happy with the way Danville's secondary played, they gave up some yards but made some great plays, the best I have seen in a long time. Now take this win and build on it and keep working, this could be a special year with continued play and effort like tonight.:thumb::dancingpa

I am going to steal Guru's style and post observations from the game.

Jawan Grey is a BOSS. Kid is the real deal Junior. IMO, he was the difference in the game. We had no answer for his speed. He caught the ball out of the backfield and he got to the corner and got yardage on us. His 74 yard game winning run will make him a local legend for the rest of his life here in Danville, Ky. And I was there. I never knew who he was until tonight. He went from 'who is #8' to 'I hope they don't give Jawan the ball' in no time flat. Jawan. Grey.

The momentum shifted after a Danville defender poked the ball out of Lloyd Hall's grasp right before the half. Boyle was driving and Lloyd had broke free when the defender made one of those last ditch attempts at the ball and poked it free. Danville didn't score off of the drive but the momentum shifted. This was one of the most important plays of the game.

Danville ran off the first 6 minutes of the 2nd half pounding the ball down our throats. Danville became a much better team when they quit throwing the ball. Once they made a shift from trying to complete short passes to pounding the rocking the rock the dynamic changed quickly. They wore us out on their first drive and after running it down to the Boyle 26 Alcorn threw a pretty pass to Grey for a 26 yard td pass. I may be wrong but I think that was the only pass they threw in the 2nd half.

While I still won't blame the Highlands loss on us getting gassed it was evident halfway through the 3rd quarter that we were running on fumes. This is the 3rd game in a row that we have had a bad second half. We must buck this trend.

Turnovers are killing us. We must protect the ball. I know. Football 101 but still.....

Danville won the battle of the trenches. They ran with ease on us in the 2nd half.

That comeback by Boyle in the final 3 minutes was beautiful. Hundreds of fans left and the bleachers were half full. To watch them methodically drive down the field to score and make it 21-13 and then recover the onside kick and then score AND get the 2 point conversion to tie was amazing, inspiring and goosebump inflicting. When Danville handed off to Jawan Grey and he got to the second level he juked and juked again and juked one more time and then broke back to the middle of the field to daylight and was gone. 74 yards. It was unbelievable. Despite our loss I was glad I was there. Just an amazing game..

Having Clint Hellyer back was a welcome addition. It looked like he and Casey have some chemistry. Hellyer made some important receptions early in the game. He also makes the secondary better and deeper with his return.

I don't recall a Boyle team from the previous years that had so many guys playing important roles on both sides of the ball like we are now. That is my major concern at this point.

Props to Danville! Nice win.....they should be at the top of the polls now.

Great win for Danville. It was an exciting game.

Big congrats to all my Ads buddies out there! Way to go Ads!
