Just curious as to if anyone has ever hit a hole in one or Eagle?

Just curious as to if anyone has ever hit a hole in one or Eagle?

I've had a bunch of eagles but never an ace. I have witnessed several aces by friends. I'd love to see my boy jar one today at Boone Links!!!

Just curious as to if anyone has ever hit a hole in one or Eagle?

Eagled a par 5 once. I'm the kind of golfer that comes out with 1-2 birdies per round, 4 or 5 pars, a few doubles bogeys and the rest bogeys.

Played my club on Friday afternoon and shot a horrendous 97, might have had something to do with the amount of "John Daly's" I drank though. Great time with good friends though. Beats the heck out of working. I couldnt get off the tee consistently but my putting once again was very solid with only one hole garnering a 3 putt.

I might get out sometime today to shoot 9 but the rain just started. :(

1 eagle before. Holed out from about 50 yards on a par 5.

Does Tiger Woods 2012 count? If it helps all of them have been on a par 4.:idunno:

Rocketballz

I used to be in the low 80's when I was able to play a lot. I'm not 100% sure on my lowest score but I'm thinking 78 or 79. I can't remember.

Just bought a RBZ 5 wood and man is it hot. Most juiced club I've ever hit, would hate to see the 3 wood (which I am going to purchase soon). Never hit driver well, never liked to use fairway metals. I always played my rescue 3 for long distance shots and played the rest of my game with irons which is the best part of my game, especially short irons. Bought the RBZ 5 wood Friday and immediately was striking the ball longer than I ever have off the tee. Twice I was laying about 30-40 yards from the green hitting 3 on a couple of par 5's that I would normally have to take a 7-9 iron into. I can tell its going to shave the strokes off my golf game being driving distance off the tee was always my weakness. Was matching some guys I consider pretty long hitters off the tee yard for yard and they were hitting driver, again this was a 5 wood!!!!!

Along with the new RBZ 5 wood I also purchased a new rescue dual. I had bought one of the original TaylorMade rescue's when they first came out around 05'/06' and thing has been my most reliable club for years. Most def the definition of a utility club as I used it for everything. Usually until I started pulling my driver out and hitting again recently, (which I will now keep back in the bag now I hit better distance with the RBZ 5W and likely even more with the RBZ 3W I will be getting) I would hit my rescue 3 (19 degree) off the tee on almost all par 4's/5's as well as my second shots usually. I would normally be about 220 with it.

I still have it in my bag but added a new rescue dual 2 TP (tour preferred) which is 16 degree. I will use these two clubs basically as my 3 and 4 irons (although I will get more distance out of the rescue 2 and 3 than I would a 3 or 4 iron respectably), and then have 5-SW in my bag. I also have a TaylorMade 52 degree wedge that I use as a lob wedge. I know its actually a gap wedge but I hit it the same way and on the same shots I used to with my 60 degree lob wedge. Then I have a TaylorMade Burner Driver/R7 driver, (normally keep Burner in the bag because I hit it better than r7, although I rarely use driver anyway especially now). RBZ 5 wood, and Burner 6 (28 degree) rescue wood that I use as basically a 7 wood. I then have an odyssey white ice two ball putter.

Now that I have realized I can hit a fairway wood I will def be getting the RBZ 3 wood and rounding out my set. Most likely when that happens I'll probably take out the trusty rescue 3 I've had for a while and just roll with the newer rescue 2 TP to take its place.

Quick recap of what's in the bag for those who don't want to decipher that mess above. :D

TaylorMade Burner Driver

TaylorMade Rescue TP 2 (16 degree)

TayloreMade Rescue Dual 3 (19 degree)

TaylorMade RBZ 5 wood (19 degree)

TaylorMade Burner Rescue 6 (28 degree)

TaylorMade R7 Draw Irons 5-SW

TaylorMade TP 52 degree wedge

Odyssey White Ice 2 ball putter

Anyone watching the John Deere Classic on CBS? Watching these guys play is just nuts, wish I could sink putts like the pro's do. I'm not a bad putter but these guys make it look so effortless.

They make every part of the game look effortless. That's what I always tell people, especially those who don't play golf, its unreal how good the guys on TV actually are. I mean even the guys who fail to make the cut are still so good at golf its sickening.

I've talked enough about clubs but as for rounds played I have been around 4-8+ on average for 18 holes this season. I normally play at Stonecrest (Prestonsburg), Raven Rock (Jenkins), and Mountain Pub Links (Pike Co) and have been scoring on average anywhere from 4-8 over on all these courses.

Ok another question, do you guys always play/count just one ball?

Depends on the situation. I may not always play two balls, but If I am just with one of my buddies having a relaxed day without a group behind us or without really keeping score I may play a couple extra shots here and there to work on my game a little. If I am seriously trying to take my score I will play one ball. I also play in a golf league at work and we will normally just play best ball. Early in the year though when I'm just starting the season and not keeping score, I won't necessarily play 2 balls the entire time but I will take quite a few extra shots just to get some more practice in (as long as there isn't anyone playing behind me).
