July 9, 201214 yr If you really want some BGP entertainment, wait till the game is over and then go back and read these threads. It is sooo funny reading all the complaints when you know it all ends up in a win. As to the daily lineup complaints, once again I will make the comment - Dusty is managing a team for an entire season and every game isn't game 7 of the World Series. Everyone on your roster has to get playing time. So the question to all those who seem to want the same 8 guys out there every day is this, do you never play the bench guys and get them AB's? If you do, when would you play them?
July 9, 201214 yr Gotta agree with Thom. Bryce Harper making the All Star team is a bit ridiculous. Why is it so ridiculous? He is arguably the best hitter on the team with the best record in the National League ... and let's face it, he is already one of the game's most talked-about players.

He is arguably the best hitter on the team with the best record in the National League ... and let's face it, he is already one of the game's most talked-about players. So what if he's one of the most talked about players. His numbers aren't All Stat caliber. There are a lot more deserving players. Heck, Todd Frazier's numbers are just as good, if not better in 70 less AB, and you would laugh at anybody that suggested he should have made it. If he were a Red you have blasted the choice. It's ridiculous.
