Are those really all that bad? :lol: You should know. He was as maligned as Eli was. Well, worse than Eli but Eli had to win 2 rings before he finally got respect.

But I still don't think he's been through all that many rough times, at least not in the last couple of years. So the "after all you've been through" questions seem silly to me. Regardless, I'm happy the Heat won over OKC.

Did he have it as rough as the old woman who is rich now? No. But he has been maligned his whole career after all of his failures and now his haters have to shut up. Like how I worked the bullied woman into this one? :lol:
June 22, 201214 yr Well now two of my teams have gotten titles in UK and the Heat (Wade has always been my favorite player, that is the only reason why Heat is my favorite NBA team). Now here is hoping the Reds and the Bengals can continue this run and go win the World Series, and Super Bowl this year!

He has haters, yes, almost any athlete has haters. I'd say a lot of his hate was brought on by "the decision" when he went to Miami. Many people were probably turned off by that. Also...the haters don't have to shut up. Like you mentioned before, it took Eli two rings before they started believing. And there are probably still some out there who don't believe in Eli.

Guys pretty much been best player in the league for a few years but was hated on more than any. Finally he may get the respect he deserves.

June 22, 201214 yr Happy for Lebron. He played great. The thing that I think will get lost in all this was that the role players are the ones who truly won this for the Heat IMO. Before the series everyone was talking about how the role players at OKC were better and that was going to put them over the top. Well we saw some big games from Battier, Chalmers, and Miller (Yes, Mike Miller). Miami proved they had the better superstars and the better supporting cast. I hope those guys performances don't get lost in all of the love/hate fest for Lebron.

To me after game 2 I had a feeling the series would not come back to OKC. Last night was arguably Miami's best game of the season. At least from the role player's perspective. James is going to get his 25, 6, and 6 just for showing up. He distributed it well as the de facto point guard. I have thought for some time he is the best passer in the league.
