Dunkers was very poorly ran. Two guys went in together. The main owner that was around all the time had zero experience in the industry, and it showed. No one has bought/leased the space since.

 

Neither had experience and one passed away. Hard to believe a bar can't make it there. Reniero's was in that strip too.

Raniero's would have probably been better off just staying a small pizza place in their original location. They moved into a bigger space on the end and didn't know if it was a pizza place, sports bar, or college night club.

Highland Heights has just been too conservative. The only bar/sports bar in the city is Skyline, which is practically on NKU's campus. They would rather have people drive down the road to Wilder or Cold Spring. However, the new development in front of NKU off of 27 is said to have a micro brewery, I think.

Riniero's also briefly opened a second location on Taylor Mill Road. That location lasted less than 6 months.

I had also heard that a BW3s was coming to Cold Spring but I wasn't sure about the location.

 

Starting to be glad we decided to stay in Campbell County.

Another Panera... I don't get the fascination with that place. Average food at best.
