Credibility issue article

George Zimmerman inconsistencies: Credibility may prove key in George Zimmerman case - Orlando Sentinel

Interesting the it says many believe it will not go to trial.

The most important statement:

Michael Grieco, a South Florida defense attorney and former Miami-Dade prosecutor, said Zimmerman may have hurt his credibility with the judge, but his silence at that bond hearing should not be a factor at trial.

"It's not going to become part of the case," Grieco said.

That's because before prosecutors could use Zimmerman's behavior at the hearing against him, they'd have to prove it's relevant. The Zimmermans' finances, Grieco said, have nothing to do with happened on the drizzly, dark evening when the Neighborhood Watch volunteer killed the Miami Gardens teenager.

We all know Zimmerman is not right and not the best of people and this was another example of that, but that is not what is trying to be proved.

No. But I would imagine that the prosecutor will find a way to show Zimmerman's inability to recall to the entire truth into the equation at some point. If the credibility of the witnesses is called into play then surely the credibility of the defendant will be called into play at some point as well.

Sure. As will the credibility of the victim. But you know how these cases go where guys do not testify, etc. If one is hoping for a conviction, things like this money thing not brought to light are only relevant if they are admissible. IMO the prosecution needs enough as they can find to discredit Zimmerman's cred. How they determine that crap we will never know nor do I want to know. Lawyer talk

Maybe someone can explain it to me, but how does that clown know what the "truth" is regarding the affidavit?

Good question, I wasn't sure what he was talking about. Must have been in the original reports.

Maybe someone can explain it to me, but how does that clown know what the "truth" is regarding the affidavit?

What makes him a clown?

The affidavit is public information. In that affidavit the prosecutor left out the pertinent facts that Zimmerman had stains on his back plus head injuries to back of his head. That piece is key especially considering the laws of Florida.

There's no question she was keeping key facts out and , according to him, prosecutors are required to put such information in there.

Here's an interview he gave recently.

There is some sort of SYG hearing today.
