Nope, he asked the question and that is what was heard.

You mean to something like "Did a Highlands teacher resign?"

I realize many schools want to hide this kind of thing because they want everyone to believe their children are safe at school but in my opinion schools are better off parading the perpetrators head around on a stick and screaming to everyone we take this kind of thing serious and we will make a blatant example of you.

While I understand your opinion, the problem is in the sue happy society we live in, Highlands would be slammed with a defamation of character lawsuit if they did such. Granted, I understand many on here will say this lady's character deserves to be defamed, but you all know as well as I due, when it comes to lawsuits, justice rarely survives.

I had heard it was on the news last night but I couldn't find a link to it anywhere. It took all of one day at school for everyone to know who it was.

Saw a channel 12 news truck up near the middle of town.

Was she recruiting?

Was she recruiting?

She must have had wrong number, I didnt get the text.

Just trying to be funny, I have the utpmost respect for HHS football, IMO best program and tradition in the state. I would let my kids play there any day.

I am told the teacher that resigned is Andrea Conners.

I am also told the alleged "victim" is 18 years old so we will hear more about it because he is an adult.

Highlands teacher resigns amid rumors of relationship - FOX19.com-Cincinnati News, Weather & Sports

FT. THOMAS, KY (FOX19) -

FOX19 has confirmed that Andrea Conners, who taught history and government at Highlands High School, has resigned and has hired an attorney.

That attorney tells FOX19 that she resigned, but when asked about rumors of a sexual relationship with a student, the attorney declined to comment, and referred all matters to Highlands High School.

FOX19 has spoken with the school, with the Campbell County prosecutor and with Fort Thomas police.

All have declined to comment on the matter.

If the student was 18 years old...Why is this being investigated by authorities?

I guess to determine if there was a relationship while the student was a minor?

In KY isn't the age of consent 17? I'm not sure how any more can come of this.

Is it? If so you're right as to the authorities being involved. I would think it would be a closed legal matter once it's determined that nothing took place prior to the student turning 17.
