July 2, 201214 yr Author 60% of Pensacola's rotation is in the top 120...The Reds farm is suddenly not looking so depleted 5 Guys in the Top 120 and that doesn't include Lutz, Joseph, Gregorius, Lamarre, Bowe and Henry Rodriguez...Then you also still have Yorman Rodriguez and Juan Duran who havent figured it out yet but are still very young, none of these guys are top tier prospects but theythe are still very solid...Also Travieso the Reds #1 Pick this year isn't on there for obvious reasons as he hasn't played yet and I would expect that Jesse Winker a 1st Rounder this year and Tanner Rahier a 2nd Rounder this year could be added to the list once the season is over... Winker was one of the Top HS Bats in the Draft as was Rahier and they are both off to Hot Starts in their Pro Careers... Edited July 2, 201214 yr by nkufan23

I know you take some flack from time to time from some people, but please keep up the good work, it is much appreciated. So the Reds have 5 players in the Top 120. What ML team has the most players in the top 120? Who has the least amount?

It wouldnt be a message board without the flack :thumb:...Heres a breakdown, KC has 7 the Reds have 5 and the White Sox have 0...The Reds second tier guys are very good as well, I would have to think once the season is over the Reds might have a Top 5 Farm System again if they dont trade anyone away... July 2, 201214 yr It's nice to see some guys in the lower levels doing some things because we have NO ONE at AAA.
July 3, 201214 yr Author Cingrani dominating once again thus far for the Wahoos, 5 IP, 2H, 5 K's...Era down to 1.83 and he is also hitting .500 on the year in 6 AB's
July 3, 201214 yr Author Cingrani with a bad finish with back to back walks resulting in him getting pulled...Still a very solid 6.2IP, 2H, 4BB, 9K and 0ER...His era is now 1.75 at AA, it was 1.11 at A+...7 Wins, 2 Losses 90IP, 63H, 14ER, 25BB, 115K's and opponents are hitting about .190 off of him... Last season in his rookie campaign at Billings he had a 1.75 era, 51IP, 6BB and 80K's...
July 3, 201214 yr Author Sickels on Henry Rodriguez who didn't crack his Top 120 and Stephenson who checked in at 63 on his list...Sounds like Henry Rodriguez might have been included in his list as well if not for the injury... Re: Stephenson Stephenson I am very impressed with Stephenson and consider him one of the top pitchers from the 2011 draft, in terms of longterm potential anyway. Let’s see how he does in shortseason ball but he could easily move up the August list by John Sickels on Jul 2, 2012 7:30 PM EDT Re: Rodriguez hrod Henry is a very interesting player….he always hits well, but scouts don’t seem to like his glove much and are always coming up with excuses to downgrade him. If rehab goes well and he keeps hitting, he would be a candidate in August. by John Sickels on Jul 2, 2012 7:53 PM EDT
July 3, 201214 yr It's nice to see some guys in the lower levels doing some things because we have NO ONE at AAA. Costanzo can rake. And you've got Gathright.
July 3, 201214 yr Costanzo can rake. And you've got Gathright. I hear that Janish guy has real potential.
July 3, 201214 yr Author I hear that Janish guy has real potential. Janish is probably a better option at this point than Cairo...Which isnt saying much...
July 3, 201214 yr Author Hamiltons teammate Theo Bowe has 44 steals but is overshadowed by Billy...It would be something if Bowe could reach 100 as well before the year is over...Chances are slim though but 44 is a year for most guys...
July 3, 201214 yr ctrent @ctrent Stat of the night from @BaseballAmerica -- Of the 119 full-season minor-league teams (not including Bakersfield) only 14 have 100 steals
