When CovCath plays on Saturday afternoon it's like the added bonus of having Monday Night Football. I think it's pretty cool, and a nice tradition started out of necessity.

 

They get to play half their schedule on Friday nights somewhere. I have no problem with them saving their money and just keeping it this way.

Not gonna happen for the '14 season. Not unless someone hands them a HUGE sum of money, and in a hurry.

 

Let me guess, Mr. Rowe is using the funds set aside for this project to de-ice the basketball court?

All kidding aside, there are some powerful alumni that could make this happen in a blink of an eye. I know it is hard to keep hitting them up again and again. They have been very generous of late with the addition of the school, the property adjacent to the school, etc. That place has come a long way over the years.

There's a thread about everything Cov Cath is currently looking at accomplishing that I started in the Premium forum. It's a pretty seriously heavy-duty capital campaign that they're currently putting into motion, and it involves a lot of good things to come. I think the kind of money they are looking for is going to take QUITE a few powerful alumni.

You're right. You can't keep hitting up the same bunch so frequently. This is not a priority for the school IMO.
