He spent much of the first few pitches debating the Reds' place on the list of shortest names for its starting lineup. Struggled with how to spell Heisey. It is kind of a cult following for Mike Shannon that I have never understood. People absolutely love the guy around here. Not sure if it is the bourbon, age, or both, but he has a tendency to go off on tangents quite a bit.
