Cardinals at Reds Series 4/9 thru 4/11 2012

He's been awful both ways. Should've been called strike three on Stubbs, too.

If the Reds don't take advantage of these walks, they don't deserve any fortunate luck in this game.

I agree. Buckner sucks

Phillips had to leave the game after scoring. Appears to be some kind of leg injury.

Looks like he was limping as he came off. I think he may have pulled something when he had to turn it back on.

Cramp in his hammy...

Story of tonight: One team's ability to capitalize on another team's mishaps versus another team's inability. Hate to say it's over, but pack it in, get ready for tomorrow

I watched the first two innings but couldn't watch the rest. Westbrook was really struggling to find the strike zone but the Reds couldn't capitalize on it. Frustrating night, I'm sure.

Westbrook finished with a pretty solid line.

Hopefully we can get a solid outing from Mike Leake and then it's Cueto-time.

Tough game to watch. Getting the walks early from Westbrook and unable to capitalize and get back some of the early damage, the terrible first inning from Bailey, it all had me tuning in and out the rest of the time. Hopefully the Reds can get them back tomorrow.

Chris Heisey put on a baserunning clinic tonight. Picked off, and missed an opportunity early in the game to tag up at 2nd and go to 3rd on a ball that was hit down the right field line. He went half way and had to go back on the catch. Next batter Bailey bunts and he's thrown out at 3rd when he should have been there the play before.

Homer. Again, why are we the only team in the world with a bandbox ballpark and a lame starter named, mind you, of all things.....friggin' HOMER?

Heck, let's draft a middle infielder, let him lead off as long as his name is Whiff.

I was driving through IL tonight and listened to KMOX broadcast. Shannon doesn't do it for me. He spent much of the first few pitches debating the Reds' place on the list of shortest names for its starting lineup. Struggled with how to spell Heisey.

Rough night last night to be at the ballpark. Down 4-0 at the end of the first. I've never been a fan of Homer and I think I might refuse to go to a game that he's pitching in. So frustrating. Our only run last night was on a big blunder by Westbrook.

Only 16,909 at the park last night, pretty disappointing.

I love the Hometown Hero segment where they honor someone in the military though. About the loudest the fans were all night.

I was a bit surprised at the crowd.
