April 9, 201214 yr Problem with the lineup.....Why come out and say Meso is the guy, and then play him once in the first 4 games? Why the heck is he even on the roster? It's obvious Dusty isn't going to play him. I honestly don't remember Dusty coming and saying Meso is the guy. Not saying he didn't, but I must have missed those comments. Do you have a link? Hanigan is a very solid catcher as well. They both are going to get their share of time.
April 9, 201214 yr I can't remember exactly when it was, but I know I read something to that extent on Fay's blog. If Meso isn't going to play at least 75% of the time, he needs to be in AAA so he can play every day.

April 9, 201214 yr CB Buckner still sucks. Bailey just threw Beltran a pitch right down the middle that Buckner called a ball. The next pitch was a few inches outside, and he calls it a strike. The guy sucks.
April 9, 201214 yr He's been awful both ways. Should've been called strike three on Stubbs, too. If the Reds don't take advantage of these walks, they don't deserve any fortunate luck in this game.
