I found it interesting that his girlfriend accompanied him to the press conference where the Reds announced his new deal...yet I haven't heard anything about it. Does this put the rumors to rest? Or is she a "beard"? Personally, I couldn't care less, so long as he continues to produce on the diamond.

Either way I could care less as long as the guy is happy and focused on the field.
