Side note. I know a college student whose back window of his car was destroyed by the police. They have pictures and witnesses. The car next to his was flipped and burnt but the cops destroyed his window in his car. Interesting.

Why would the police do that? There has to be much more to the story.

It just gives people with a normal destructive/lawbreaking/crowd follower mentality the outlet to act in a way they couldn't without the game. Penn State students did the same thing when Joe Pa was fired. On a larger scale, Hispanics rioted LA in the wake of the Rodney King verdict years ago. Why?

 

I can understand some shenanigans Monday night after winning the title. But doing after a Final Four win makes it look like UK has no sports tradition and consider it lucky they won that game.

 

The whole episode makes UK and Lexington look foolish. You just have a group of people who use the game as an outlet to act justifyably stupid in their mind

I hope the Lex PD takes a look at those videos and pics and lock up those involved, as well as UK kicking them out! I sure would like to know what these people would do if it was their car. I see where some idiots were taking out stop signs, nice job! We don't need them! IDIOTS! All of them!

Students IDed in the videos being idiots need to be expelled, no exceptions. Students who participated in vandalism need to be arrested. Anyone who tries to make excuses for these morons is a moron them self and just facilitate such behavior. THERE IS NO GOOD EXCUSE FOR THIS BEHAVIOR.

If I had to guess his car was probably parked in front of a fire hydrant. They probably broke out the window so they could run the fire hose thru the windows.

People get drunk and act like idiots. I hope they use videos to charge people with the crimes they committed.

I have not enjoyed explaining to family in three different states today that no, not all UK fans are that way and that the rest of us don't "get" setting fire to couches and flipping cars. :lol:
