You think MKG is getting to the rim in the NBA like he does in college? Come on.

No, I'm saying his ability to do so right now is good enough for the NBA (Elite may not have been the best word). Obviously as he gets stronger, more experience he's only going to get better at it. He'll develop an outside shot. If he can get his 3% up to 35-38% in the NBA, he's going to be lethal.

Agreed. However, 1/16 from 3 since mid-January coming into last night makes me question if he can get to 35%. I can't imagine teams running sets for him to shoot 3s.

Not for his first few years. He'll always be a hot-cold guy from 3. He'll never be Ray Allen.

So Clyde name me 15-20 guys in this years draft you would rather have. Would you take Harrison Barnes over MKG?

So how many 6'6 guys that cannot shoot from the perimeter get a lot of minutes in rhe NBA?

Not many but that is the only real weakness he has which can be fixed.

IF your looking for offense then I would take Barnes.

It really depends on what team is drafting and where. MKG would make a contender a great player.

Iman Shumpert is a 6'6" guy that can't shoot. 27 minutes a game for the Knicks...

GT, if you had a lotto pick, would you use it on MKG if he was still on the board?

Yup...

I would not. Too many questions about his head and heart.

OK. He and MKG are similar in that they are or can be lockdown defenders however MKG doesn't have Iman's ball skills to get to the rim.

You're right, MKG can't get to the rim....

I saw him get to the rim a lot yesterday.....on fast breaks. He also had success with a smaller guy on him. He did exactly what he was supposed to do . Loved the game.

However, you also saw him early struggle going to the hole against length. 100 guys coming out can get to the rim on breaks.

@GaryParrishCBS MKG ranks #1 amongst NCAA prospects in transition scoring efficiency. Finishes 71% of his attempts there.
