Does anyone know if he has the same deadline as high school recruits or are collegiate transfers somehow limited to an earlier deadline/allowed to choose later?

They are already becomming "Transfer U" so might as well......

What's wrong with that? Just a part of college basketball whether you like it or not.

 

Where did I say anything was wrong with it or where did I hate on it? Just stating facts, they have got multiple high level d1 transfers in the last couple years, Royce White, Cory Luscious, etc.

Out of that group it would be hard to imagine anything other than Kentucky. Mizzou and X both have voids to fill on the inside, but so does Kentucky. When playing time is about even amongst the three I'd like to think Kentucky wins out based on all other variables.

If it was that simple UK would be the clear leader. At this point they are not...

Barber, Dent and Dale Brown were juco transfers, as I recall ... a little different situation.

It's a bit different than a standard recruiting situation for Oriakhi. He clearly doesn't want to have even a little bit of competition wherever he goes. Kentucky might be his best option for exposure and he knows Cal will try to coach the most out of him. That being said, he probably wants to be the center point of a team, and he really wouldn't be at Kentucky.

He wouldn't be the best player at Mizzou or Xavier either. But way to work in a backhand on a situation you don't know much about... :thumb:

What are you even talking about? Point A) It's the last year for him, he probably doesn't want competition. Point B) He gets most exposure at Kentucky. Point C) He won't be the centerpoint of UK's team. When did I say anything about Mizzou or Xavier? Get over yourself...

No he doesn't. That's a positive, but it's not a necessity. Did Kenneth Faried play with top talent? Kawhi Leonard? Those are two off the top of my head that spot start in the NBA as rookies and didn't play with top talent. Both, I believe were 1st round draft picks.

They also weren't able to transfer to just about any school in the country for their last season in college. Different situations all together.
