What a way to tip off the NCAC basketball season for Denison((4-1, 1-0 NCAC)over conference favorite Wooster(3-2,0-1 NCAC) last night in Granville.

The Big Red started quickly and never let the foot off of the gas peddle.

Leading the winners with 18 was Matt Doyle(Fairfield, Conn. / Fairfield Ludlowe) and Claude Chandonnet(New Canaan, Conn. / New Canaan ) Chandonnet hit 6-10 from three point land. Doyle made 11-13 for the charity stripe.

Wooster got 14 points from Reece Dupler(Newark, Ohio, Hebron Lakewood)

The Wooster boosters were no doubt upset about this one.
