Sometimes we forget what its all about....

Wednesday night at the 32nd District Championship, at match point, the Outside Hitter from Simon Kenton went down and was in severe pain (possible ACL). Instead of celebrating their first district championship in 5 years the entire Walton Verona team and joined hands with the Simon Kenton team in prayer. It strikes me that sometimes we parents need to reflect on what high school and youth sports are all about ... we can learn some amazing lessons from wonderful and caring girls like these.
