I don't think they will play. Being 1st or 2nd in the district is not that big of a deal and besides if SL was to knock off Corbin it would be a tie and I think Corbin wins the tie. I don't see a big difference in playing Whitley or Williamsburg in the district tourney. I think SL will take their chances in the district tourney.

He was never in a Coordinator's role, that is my point. His dad called the offense and Tony called the defense. Never the less I hope this is a good hire for NL.

I think Corbin is a 15-20 point better team than SL if all is equal. All is not equal in this one and I see Roscoe Denny giving SL a shot with defense but I will still take Corbin by 10.

I am not sure if they are better w/o him. But they maybe playing better on the offensive end with another guard. Seemed they were playing with 4 post players and having a hard time with ball movement with Whitaker just dribbling all the time with little help.

Only stating just b/c you are the son of a good coach don't mean you are a good Coach. Not sure of what other qualifications he has besides the bloodlines? Again I will say a very interesting hire hope it works out.

Yes. He was on Tom's staff at Rock. Don't know exactly what his responsibilities were with Rock? Parkey was the top offensive asst. and Saylor on defense. Not sure if he coached last year or not??? Kind of a against the grain hire IMO.

Hope the kids get the chance to finish the career with the Falcons but at the same time I am glad the 101 is coming home. I wish the Falcons the best of luck as always.

Exactly, that severly impacts the pool of canidates possible for the job. They needed to make that clear upfront and not allow people to piece the puzzle together. Another example of too many decsion makers. 1 says one thing only to find out something different from another. I really do wish them luck hope whoever it is succeds b/c the players/community deserve an oppurtunity to win.:thumb:

You do realize 4 or 5 weeks is about 4 or 5 times longer than NFL teams take? Or about twice as long as NCAA team take. I have been around these types of things before and I really don't like how this 1 is turning out. I hope it is good for the NL program but the longer it goes on the least likely it will be sucessfull IMO.

They have already missed nearly a month in weights and conditioning. That is enough to say they are dragging their feet.

Bottom line they are dragging their feet. IMO they have too many people trying to make the decision. That is why I think some coaches have turned away from the job, too many bosses to answer too.

Hearing Jones from Estil, Head coach from a school in Tn., and a Line coach from Bell Co.

I would think it would be a more interesting job as well. It is a very winnable district for sure and on most years Franklin has as many athlete's as anyone in 4A.

Roark applied but was not interviewed and was told he would most likely not coach in 2009 at North.

Good win for KC. The 13th continues to show that besides Corbin everyone else is pretty equal. Makes for a fun season for us fans and a huge headache for the coaches. :lol:

This was Ky TEAM not individuals. Again I will say most of the exposure was during practice from the smaller colleges. Many of which did not attend the game but did attend a few practices. Let it die this was great opportunity for the players nominated/chosen. I thought all 3 QB's for Ky played well.

I don't want to post names on here but he has no Head Coaching experience. More news should be out in the following days. Not sure if the certain coach is willing to accept the job?
