2009 Fort Campbell

Returners are the key. They had a lot of juniors on this past championship team, but the big question is in regards to them returning. With the eventual return of (pretty much)the whole 101st, parents will be transitioning in and out of Fort Campbell, so the chances of losing some players is pretty good.

Go Falcons!

That's crazy. It's wonderful for the families. I hope for the SRs sake they get one more go round, b/c they have the potential to be one of the most dominant 2A teams in recent memory.

The Army will do what ever it can to stabilize families with seniors for another year, but sometimes that doesn't work either and the soldier has to go. BUT you never know what trensfers might just walk in the door either!

True, the Army will do what it can to stabilize familes with seniors, but there are some soldiers that are just tired of the deployments and are doing things to get out of the Division. I, for one, am really tired of them, but I'm doing my part to keep my son @ Fort Campbell through his senior year (he'll be a junior next year).

I certainly would love to see all of the juniors return as seniors, because I agree with comments made previous to this about the Falcons being a dominating 2A team.....and would love to see my son with four rings and a nice offer from a school when he's done @ Fort Campbell. :ylsuper:

Your wife is correct; Ft Campbell will not be playing Trigg Co. The Scribe can probably provide more detail, but from what I understand Trigg Co and Ft Campbell’s schedule did not align due to other games and the district scheduling requirements.

I believe Fort Campbell’s schedule (in no particular order) is:

Pear-Cohn (Nashville, 3A, 1-9 in 2008)

Paducah Tilghman

Christ Presbyterian Academy (Nashville, 2A, 9-4 in 2008)

Kenwood (Clarksville, 4A, 2-9 in 2008)

Warren Central

Ft Knox

Todd

Hancock

OC

Hopkinsville

They dropped these from last year’s schedule:

Warren East

Trigg Co

Mayfield

Union Co

Franklin Simpson

I like the addition of Hopkinsville and Kenwood (or other Clarksville School), but I would have rather seen them play Trigg, Warren East, or Mayfield then the two Nashville schools.

Thanks.

Wonder why there was the addition of the Nashville schools rather than other KY schools in other classes.

Looks good though, can't wait to get home!

I saw on CPA's website that we play them at our home on 21 AUG, they're a state quarter finalist.
