eastfan far be it for me to disagree but, I saw East at Fairview, and Raceland and the top teams had very little problem with them ie Ashland, Raceland beat them 2-3 times

Raceland looked decent in their 1st action, they played w/o Jacob Sparks who is still nursing a sore shoulder from the LCA game last Friday. KC Nichols ran the team well at the point,Tyler Boyles hit the shots he took, Cody Barker didn't start but, came off the bench and contributed in all 3 areas, I have no idea who will be in the starting line-up now, Coach went with an all senior starting 5 tonight, Raceland won every quarter they played the varsity

I saw Rachael Vanderhoof play the other day and she looked good, no favoring of either knee.

Was the college team Dodd coached Berea. If this is the case most of the coaches in our area wouldn't take a pay-cut to coach in college.Ron Reed another former coach in the area was asst at Ole Miss , what I am trying to say is just because you coached at a college it doesn't make you a better coach. This year we will see how good of a coach he is.

This is strickly my opinion of the players I have seen 1.Jeff Watkins 2.David Tackett 3.Bob Trimble 4.Jason McCallister 5.Chris Vandergriff Of these 5 truly only Watkins and Trimble could put a team on their back and carry them for awhile

Raceland needs to put as much effort and money in its elementary basketball as it does football. Imo, an I think they need to play outside their own school system starting in the 4th grade
