Mackey is waiting for an indictment to be sent to circut court from the grand jury I believe, legal jargon that I do not understand, he has not been found guilty or not guilty and he has not been sentanced yet. Indications are pointing to the fact that he will do time, but many believe he will be found guilty and shock probated since it is his first offense, I'm not very well versed in the legal world so I am sure I screwed all that up! The only thing that happened today is the judge approved (after he already left w/o her approval) for Mackey to be schooled in Cincy as long as he appears for his court dates.

If he wasn't going to already he is doing all he can to get jail time.

By the way thatswhatshesaid, that username is a classic! I once played golf with a guy that said that for 36 straight holes after every comment we made, it was funny for about 6 holes, but after 36 we almost pushed him in the creek!

I think he is going to have to play the wing/3 spot at the D1 Level, he could possibly play small forward NAIA, I don't think he's physical enough to play inside the arch at the next level.

It's all good, would kind of be like Berea or Model beating Madison Central!

This game will give Mason a shot to show they do more than just compete but knock off top ranked in state opponents like they are capable of.

Morris is being recruited by all local OVC schools as well as Georgetown College. I think EKU and Tennessee Tech are pretty high up on the list right now, academically solid, at time inconsistent on the court. But a nice body, good shot, and can run like a deer, doesn't like contact.

Scott County doesn't lose at home. SC by 10

Being at St. Pat. it may give them a slight advantage but I would say Montgomery by 15 to 20!

Worst T story....In the middle of a game I had decided to get a T, there was one good ref and one horrible one. The horrible ref called an over the back on my kid and I marched onto the court but unfortunately the bad ref had already rotated and the good ref was right next to me (on the free throw line). I said sir, "I am not going to cuss at you but I want a T right now," and he told me "coach go and sit down," I then said again, "I want a T give me one now"....by that time my asst. came on the court and got me.......good thing I didn't get one, that ref saved me....he knew how bad his partner was, good thing because we only won the game by one point!

Does the KHSAA ever start an investigation that ever ends without a punishment (or do we just never hear of those cases)? It seems like an "investigation" by the KHSAA most of the time end with someone in the wrong, they must just pick and choose their cases wisely or have some good lawyers at that!

One of the best 6th grade teams I have seen in the Central Kentucky Area is Elkhorn Middle's (Frankfort) not sure if they are entering the KBA 6th Grade State.

I believe it said in the paper that the scholarships were not offered to the students for the current year but a previous year, I thought I read that in the Herald Leader?

Just interesting that most of their kids attend LCA, what does the name ICE stand for any way, or does it stand for anything? Guess this would fall under the parent recruitment catagory then!

Interesting about not thinking it goes on in basketball, I guess you missed the new 6'1 Freshman Transfer from Scott County that came in this year, after he was "encouraged" to join the AAU Lexington Ice which is full of predominatley Lexington Christian Kids, would be interesting to see who funds that AAU team as well and where they practice, wonder if they practice at LCA?? I guess everyone is obvlious to that as well.....by the way, the kid from Scott County,he can dunk!
