  1. Hey camel.... you are wearing me out with your flip flopping on the issues. You are the one who keeps bouncing from 2006 to 2007. I only started talking about 2006 when you did. You stuck your foot in your mouth when you said "I was at the tournament and I loved seeing them miss out by one shot" I'm not sure where you got your definition of Rivalry, but it is not a subtle hate. It is clear to me that writing back and forth with you is going no where (You can’t rationalize with irrational people) I think you have all the qualities of a past high school player who never amounted to anything. I apologize if I am wrong, but I don’t think I am...... Again, In the end, all that matters is the "team". How many State Tournaments have you been to ??? nuff said
  2. We had never played Laurel Oaks either but we got the job done, not a very good excuse for your lack of performance when it matters. And this thread was started about the 2007 regionals. Check your sources.
  3. Conference was played at AJ Jolly in 2006. Last year (2007) was the first year it was played at Hickory Sticks and Niemeyer was not on the team due to the fact that he graduated after the 2006 season. Therefore it is not possible to tie him at Hickory Sticks in conference because he never played a conference tournament there. I also believe that striker said he beat the crap out of everyone in 2006 which is true. I believe he medaled 9 times in a row at one point in the season and he tied the all time record for medals in a season with 10. So I would say he had a bigger part on that team than anyone else. If Clint Kohls was the only reason that we went to state then I guess you are saying that one person can carry the whole team to state. If I remember there are 4 scores used to deterimne the teams score not just one. Also since you are saying that one guy can take histeam all the way to state by himself, "if" and I mean "if" you are as good as you say you are, then why is it that your team did not go to state with what has to be one of the best players ever to play the game. I mean if you beat Niemeyer and you never lost to anyone in the season then you must be one of the best and you should be able to lead your team to state just like Clint and Niemeyer did.
  4. I do not remember my conference score nr do I care about my own individual performance. The only thing that matters is the team score and I belve my team beat your team and that's all that matters.
  5. So you must be saying that you were the one man. In that case that is not true. I know for a fact that you did not medal against Grant County and I know that when you played against us our one man medaled.
  6. How dyou you figure you beat us twice. I remember a match. That's it. I also believe we beat you in regionals which means wecame ready to play when it mattered and you didn't, but that should be no surprise to you beacause you should be use to it.
  7. You should feel really proud of yourself. Your rival lost out on the state tournament by one shot and you are happy about it. First of all, great sportsmanship on your part. I can understand you being happy if we lost in the regular season by one shot, but to miss out on a great experience like the state tournament and for you to be happy is very low. You have no idea how we were feeling after missing the state tournament by one shot. Especially since we had been there the past 5 years and wanted to go back and continue that streak. Could you say that about your team? Didn't think so. If your team was good enough to actually make it there for once you would know that feeling. So until you beat actually beat Brossart and go to the state tournament 5 years straight like we did then I suggest you think before you say comments like that. Especially when you have no right to be saying them.
  8. As much as I love golf, I must agree with striker. Golf is not a big time sport at all in high school. People really don't get into golf until their later years and golf really doesn't get publicized at any level except for the pro tour. How often do you here about the player of the year in golf on ESPN? Never.
  9. Really? That's funny because if i remember correctly when we played Campbell I remember him making sure everything got started ok and then went and took a nap on the team bus. I also recall hearing from the players numerous times while playing with them that their coach was a horrible coach. They said that he never made them go to practice, if and when they had practice. Sounds to me like he wasn't working very hard. As to him working harder than you did, that may be the reason why you haven't made it to state or had much success over the past years.
  10. Heard that Simpson broke his hand and is out for the year. Any truth to this?
  11. I guess you didn't read my above post. I would suggest reading it before saying I had the wrong situation next time. And I'm almost 100% sure that when the catcher's arm hits the batter while he is trying to throw a guy out it is interference on the batter and the runner is called out.
  12. [quote=Camel Fan 81;2569942 And also N KY Sports CEO, on the umpire's call I still don't think you know what you are talking about. Weren't you the one before saying the ball hit the runner at 3rd? I guess I didn't make myself very clear here. What i was trying to say is as the runner was running to third and the ball hits the batter then the runner is out. I apologize for not being very clear.:thumb:
  13. It sounded like Augusta came back. I think they were down by 13 at one point in the 4th. Sounded like just an overall great game. Brossart: Webb 21(5 3-pointers) Rieger 15 Patterson 11 Stortz 11 Kremer 4 Hertzenberg 3 Ridder 1 I apologize that I have no stats for Augusta.
  14. I'm interested in hearing your explanation to why that is funny.
  15. If i remember correctly I believe that Brossart scored a couple runs in the 6th inning to seal the deal, and last time i checked when the runner is running to third base and the ball hits him that is interference. Absolutely the right call. :thumb:
  16. I'll go with Brossart. They always come ready to play when they need to. :thumb:
  17. It's still early. Brossart is very young and will learn to play together very well very quicky. Just give it time. When it comes time to defend the All "A" Regional Championship and the All "A" State Championship, they will be ready to play and will get the job done. They always do and always will. It's the Brossart way.
