Teaching and coaching are thankless jobs, anyone who goes into them at the amateur level should know this. Maybe Matney is paving a new road so that everyone will get paid like him. Let's not pull the guy down for making 6 figures, let us embrace and hope we can make the same. Otherwise get off the cpu during school and teach your class and quit crying.

WC has played a solid schedule already have seen Bell's bone and M-boro's veer so they are ready for the running game that NL is trying to force on offense. North Laurel has played solid defense against two spread teams like Clay and South Laurel. The question is whose offense will step up? I have no clue what WC doing?(please advise if you know) and North is keeping its best player on the field at QB in the bone handing it off? Maybe gun/run would best suit them. :sssh: my pick WC 21 NL 10

Mercer county is a team to be reckon with, they will have a non-district schedule and district schedule that will help them get ready for the play-offs. WKY is due, BG does not have to battle any Catholics this year. JC's had a taste, and will want some more. Also, either John Hardin, Whitley or Clay could be a sleeper.

:irked: Point being is that they loss, do not make excuses, it is unfair to the players because they worked hard and had spectacular results to only be tarnish that they were tired and fatigued. Give credit were credit is due I thought the teams in the tournament looked great and Lex Cath had a stellar performance. There is no need to make up excuses for them.

26 games/3 days = 9 games a day 9 games/3 teams is only 3 games a day per team (3 games x1 team) X 3 days= 9 games in 3 days for each team. :confused: :confused:

:lol: first they are passing games, they are not physical, no blocking, tackling or hitting just running in helmets, and second they have 60 players, substitutions should have been a thought, they probably just played a two deep man any ways so you can have alot of subs, and they did not have to make a long bus trip either. Lex Cath is five minutes from UK they probably went home or out to eat between games. :lol:

What does Coach Blair bring to the table Mr. Rasputin, obviously you know his credentials and reason why he is unable to help, please give us a reason. I think it is unfair to degrade a coach without giving a valid reason?:irked: Just a little pet peeve of mine.

Coach Pardue is a great guy, and I think his IQ is not questionable and could match that of Coach Smith. I think that having young team should have accountability to last year and I am certain that not to many teams called him up to put Boyle on their schedule this season thinking they could get an easy W. Beware of Pardue and the Rebels this year.:fight: :fight:

It all comes down to who has more depth in this class. That will obviously go to the teams up North. Most teams in this class in Central and Eastern Ky will only dress max of 40. It will take a solid and healthy team going into the playoffs to compete. I do not know much about the western teams, please give some feedback.

How did Woodford look? They also beat clay last year in over in Woodford too. Passing tournaments are great, they are like playing backyard ball.

I think that this is the most valid point. I have worked in all the public high schools and everyone is impressed with a player from uk being a coach, but in fact that is what he is a coach not a player any more. Some of the most famous coaches were not excellent players, it takes a special gift to coach just like it takes a gift to be able run faster, be tall and athletic. that has always been a pet peeve of mine. On a positive note I think that Lafayette is on the right track, they play like a team, and that act like a family. In years to come I think that if they can keep their coach will be successful against L-ville

it looks like august 24th @ knox central 6:30. I think that unless Clay learns how to stop the run Lynn Camp could pull an upset. Clay did not do well against teams who primarily run the ball, in fact all three losses came against running teams kc, Rock and almighty Bell. Lynn camp will have to play stellar defense against this high powered O. If you're a fan of either styles you will love this game!:fight:

with such a good tailback, what kind of offensive sets will dunbar use to get him the ball, also will the tail be a gamebreaker or good for four yards every time he touches the ball?

if he goes to the wing-t where did he learn it? i liked the spread he brought, i can only think of russell who runs the wing-t now and is successful with it.

Grimm and Roskopf (sp) are probably the best, kids in lex Lville have flat fields to play on, in eastern kentucky they have to run up hill both ways.

I think that if you ask any coach the X's and O's is the easy part, it is the ability teach and motivate players, as well as having the jimmies and joes. if the guy is a master mind play caller than obviously knows what his kids are able to do. Good Luck Coach Weedman. by the way, how Old is he?
