I have never been to Scott High's field, so I can't comment or compare the two. I like bring my chair so I don't have to sit on the bleachers and Like I said above, unless you like sitting in left field there's no need to bring a chair. There won't be in issue's with the playing surface as Coach Allison does an out standing job with field maintenance. Be sure to let me know what you think about the back stop and screen over home plate.

If you bring a chair the only place you can use it and see the entire field is in left field. There is no place to sit in a chair down either 1st or 3rd baseline due to the bleacher, dugouts and wind screen on the fence. Behind home plate is out too because of the concession stand.

I'm not so sure Bell is considered GRC's #1. I would think Withrow or Jackson would be their #1 or #2 and Bell their #3. I'm basing this on big game’s that these kids have pitched through out the year.

With high school baseball, you take a win any way you can get it. For got to mention, freshman Sam Lee was 4-4 with a double and a triple 2RBI's. Big game for Sam!!!

Final from Mt. Sterling. MC gets the 2 seed in 40th district. Ugly, but exciting game. MC leads 9-2 going into the top of the 6th. BC gets 9 runs in the 6th to take a 11-9 lead. MC gets 2 in the bottom of the 6th to tie it at 11. BC goes 1,2,3 in the top of the 7th. MC scores the winning run on a wild pitch. Trey Combs started for MC and went 5 inning. Taylor Potter come in the six to get the win. Seth Robertson starts for BC and Justin Vaughn takes the loss. These two teams will hook up again in the first game of the district tournament.

At the times MC played these teams they were ranked according by the KHSBCA: #16 Danville- MC won 3-1 #20 Bryan Station- MC lost 3-1 # 5 West Jessamine - MC lost 11-10 #23 GRC - MC lost 4-3 #22 GRC - MC lost 7-2 was a 3-2 game going into bottom of 6th. Still have to play Bryan Station, Madison Central (will be ranked), Belfry and Lawrence Co. GRC has will play these ranked teams: #3 West Jessaime lost 6-1 #5 Tates Creek lost 10-3 NR, but a good team Boyd Co. lost 5-2 Still have yet to play these ranked teams- #1 Lexington Catholic, #11 Harriosn Co. #15 Western Hill and Henry Clay. Harrison Co. (Just listing KY. school's) Greenup Co. lost 16-15 Henry Clay won 7-5 Still have to play- Belfry, Boyd, Lawrence and #22 GRC Bourbon Co. #22 GRC won 4-3 322 GRC lost 24-2 #11 Harrison lost 10-5 Campbell Co #22 GRC lost 15-6 Bishop Brossart Have yet to play a top 25 team. Looking at who the top ten teams have played and their head to head records I couldn't agree more with this poll. :thumb:

MC plays Bourbon 5-4-10, this will determine the 2 seed. Win or lose, MC will play Bourbon and GRC will play Paris in the district tournament.

Final from Mt. Sterling Freshman Hobie Hall get his first shut out throwing a two hitter. MC starts sluggish, but final get the bats going in the bottom of the 4th.

Final from Winchester. 3-2 ball game until the bottom of the 6th, then GRC scores 4 to open it up and close it out. GRC only has 1 ER on 7 hits. Withrow goes the distance for GRC to get the win. Trey Combs takes the loss for MC. Both pitcher threw really good games. MC just can't get the key hits when needed, they leave bases loaded in both the 2nd and 3rd innings while only scoring one run in each inning. Congrats to GRC for locking up the 1 seed in the 40th district. Hope to see you in the District finals.
