Scott would have beaten Mason County Saturday night! I'll stand by my statement...bring your A game you will need it!

Slow it down, take it inside, play a 221 full court press, you will not be able to throw anything at this team they haven't seen this year! You better lace em up and play your guts out and you may still get blown off the floor! GRC is for real and anyone who doesn't know this hasn't seen them play lately. These guys are battle tested and have taken their lumps all year. You will not rattle them with gimmicks or junk defense, you better play your best and hope for some breaks along the way!

Mason County always has been superior to all of the other counties in the tenth region...even in sportsmanship!:puke::ohbrother:

I just don't see this Mason team being able to beat GRC.They are missing that go to guy that has carried them the last ...decade! GRC did not play as bad tonight as Scott played very good. I will take GRC by 10.

The difference in the regular season game and this one is Robbie Stenzil. GRC was able to beat them without him and he is a game changer who can flat out beat you. He is the general on the floor and when he is missing it shows. I'll stick with GRC by 15 plus.

Why would you hold the ball and run NO offense down 17 points in the fourth quarter? You must make baskets to score points in order to win,correct? This was an attempt to keep a score respectable and anyone who says otherwise is not looking at it honestly.

Bring it on is all I can tell you! Clark obviously has less weakness than anyone else or we wouldn't even be posting in this thread. Montgomery County never had a chance to beat GRC and even if the score is 2-0 they still lose. Keep trying to figure it out because you still have another year to figure it out !:ylsuper:

I think the GRC staff are keeping this information quiet, You cannot prepare for what you don't know!

Teams playing slow down ball are 0-3 against GRC. Memphis tried it to bring them out of a 2-3 zone Ballard tried it to bring them out of a zone and Montgomery tried it to save a blow out. Didn't work period. As far as the point guard we use at least three players on offense to bring the ball down, Chase Kindred has developed as the best choice but Robbie and Jaylen are both more than capable. Our only weakness seems to me has been nights that the passing was bad we have struggled. A few games too many people tried to do too much. When we play as a team we can beat anyone in the state!

I think the anger was more frustration! This was the third time, at least, a coach tried to play this stall game against GRC and it hasn't worked yet! The officials didn't help the cause much either, some horrible calls made. GRC reverted back to the old passing game and let Montgomery hang around but the score was not an indicator as to the game, it was never in doubt from the tip off. GRC was playing a stifling man to man defense and Montgomery County could not get the ball past the time line for most of their possessions. The officials helped them score most of the first half on some touch foul calls! JMHO!

Don't see Holmes as top five!

The more I let this sink in the more I think the reason GRC was able to come out in the second half was the fact that Robbie Stenzel has his swagger back! The last few weeks he has seemed to be in a shooting funk and last night he seemed to regain that knock-em down attitude he has played with since eighth grade. If he can keep this team playing like they are for a final run.....watch out! This whole team contributes and is very good, but with the player Robbie is, he is the over the top factor that will beat the best in the state! Don't get me wrong, this whole team is great even the bench play has picked up a sense of urgency that is really impressive, but Robbie's ability to drive and create shots makes everyone elses job a little easier!:popcorn::notworthy:

Finally!!! Where you at Les? Guess this score may finally give the nay sayers something to chew on. What a way to send off our ONLY senior Chase Kindred. To come back on a great Ballard team after being down as much as 18 is a statement that should send GRC into the postseason with a bang!:dancingpa:clap::sssh: Les!

Clark County has played all of the Louisville schools close and this one will not be different. I Will pick Clark County only because they are due a win over a Louisville School. I really like the way Coach H. has put this years schedule together. He learned a lesson from Ballard a few years ago at Rupp Arena. You gotta be ready to play the best to win the state tournament. This year there will be no surprises at Rupp Arena.:thumb:

Unlike Mason county, who obviously has their sites set on small accomplishments, I am sure GRC has bigger things in mind than whooping up on Mason county this year. They have the talent to win a state championship and you have to set your sites a little higher than a regular season game sometimes. Sorry guys you just really aren't important this year! At least not important enough to drive into a winter storm warning for!:sssh:

That is a spell check failure but thanks for noticing. GRC is competitive in many sports besides basketball. I do believe if we just showed up to play every 17 to 20 years we wouldn't be having this conversation. So don't worry KoK we will at least try to rise to the dominant standard Mason has set so high!:ohbrother::lol:

This is great right here! Four pages on a game that was never played! I talked to some of the players and they are well aware of what is being said in Maysville! They thought it was comical as well! We will see you at the regional tournament......if you make it!:lol:
