3 years ago I was on vacation in Hollywood California. Stayed across the street from Hollywood high school saw a few of the girl's b-ball players at fast food place they told me almost every away game they have was like 1/2 mile to 2 miles away. 5 miles was a long trip. lol!!

according to khsaa site the 7th graders did play and scored a few points. They are twins and very small.

I was at the game Sunday and was actually rooting for the 7th grader twins to get into the game.

After reading these post I decided to attend yesterdays game. I was impressed with Creech. Has a good shot, makes good decisions and yesterday had a good % on the shots. She never quits while the clock is ticking such as going after the rebound of her own shot. Seemed to me all most all her points come off of driving the lane for a layup or pull up jumper. What does she do when or if an opposing team cuts the lane off ?

I was thinking about that last year. I well remember 20 yrs ago Highlands games where Jaime Walz would rebound and throw a bomb to Caity McGraw for an easy layup. Seems you never see that play anymore.

It seemed to me there was 100% agreement by all in attendance that those officials were awful.

Ryle won the JV game. Does anyone have the free throw % for Simon Kenton? I felt those missed free throws were the difference in the game.

I was there and thought it was a well called game by the officials. I did not notice either coach complain about the call's. I thought the difference in the game was Simon Kenton used 11 players and gave rest to the starters. Campbell County used 7 maybe 8 players and appeared to me they were fatigued at the last minutes of the game. Schwarber looked really fatigued at the end before fouling out.

Been that way for 20 yrs. I remember back in 1994 hearing on the 6 pm news in Cincinnati that Highlands had won that morning and would play MC Napier that night and I got up early Sunday morning and bought an Enquirer to see who won. Info has really advanced in the last 19 yrs.

I have been watching the games on-line and doesn't look like a very big crowd at any of the games. I went to BG in 2008 and 2009 and every game stands were 60%-90% full. When I was in school (70's) my sisters and I always went to the home games and supported the team. I don't have kids but my sisters kids (3 of them) have never been to a game to support the team. It just must be how kids are today.

Kruger was an eighth grader and just started playing varsity minutes toward the end of that season if my memory is correct. I think she also didn't start playing basketball until middle school.
