  1. My prayers to your son and family.
  2. I just heard that Fairview has a starting senior on defense line and offense line player out for an injury. If this is true I will say the Rams will take this one. I think that the OL is Fairview’s strongest strength. Hope this is not true.
  3. I would like to see this one televised on the OU /Adelphia station. Everyone call the station and see if this can happen.
  4. I am just glad that these two get to meet again with both at full strenth this time. Both teams have the ability to throw and have hard running backs. The final outcome will be on the OL of these teams.I look for a close knock down drag out game.
  5. I have a lot of friends in Ram town and in Eagle land and I am excited for both teams. This game should be televised .Maybe we can call Mark and talk him into it.:thumb: Good luck to both teams.
  6. OLDRAMBLER I read allot of your post but,I will disagree on this one. Read Farawaycomet2 post on up the line.Saying that he hopes Fairview loses(because) is against the players and coaches.
  7. Other than Russell, I think all the football programs in the region have been down. Coach Evans will do a fine job if he can get the support of the community and start at the elementary level and work with those coaches. It takes allot time and work to build a football program. Good luck Boyd and Fairview.
  8. I was glad to see The Eagles take on BC.I thought it was a good game after the first quarter.Eagles got started a little slow and maybe they will learn from it. Just makes them more prepared for the Nov 9th Game. That date and the ones after is what count.
  9. I know what you are saying about the wind-chill. I thought it was warming up and then I would be cold again. That wind would cut through you. I don’t think I have been to another showcase that had that many impressive infielders. Besides the LH hitters there were some nice RH batters with power also. No better place than Morehead for good LH power hitters. I saw a nice RHP from Highlands.I think that was where he was from.
  10. I was there and it went very well. Glad to see many eastern Ky Boys attend. Who do you think looked good for the day?
  11. Like Fairview (Mossy Bottom)has a lot of political influence. Get real, LCA won the game.
  12. WWBC Baseball will be having a wooden bat tourney this weekend Oct.20th and 21st. Go to wwbcbaseball.com for details. Teams in this tourney include Greenup Eagles Raiders Cats Devils Royals
  13. You are correct.Fans were ejected also The simple fact is that these rookie refs let it get out of control from the very start. cvillecat if you anything about football you know that play after play punching and cheap shots will start both sides if the refs let it go to a point that it gets out of hand.
  14. Believe what you want. These officals were the worst I have seen in varity football.
  15. In 30 years of watching different sports, this was the worst officiated game I have ever seen. This game was out of control the first quarter of the game and the refs watched and let the game turn into a punching match. I would call it self defence for the Fairview boys.
  16. A league this fall called WWBC Baseball with 5 teams playing each other go to wwbcbaseball.com for info.
  17. Go to this site for updates http://eteamz.active.com/kystatelittleleague/standings/
  18. Ok guys I heard it straight from the horse’s mouth. Chad was told he could stay as long as he wanted as football coach at Fairview. He felt like he wasn’t getting the support that he would like from both administrators and fans at Fairview. I think all coaches feel this way at some point in their career. It’s no secret that he has applied for positions at different schools in the past while being at Fairview. Good luck to Chad. Cooksey is the coach and that is it. For the sake of the players lets get on with some football talk. Good luck to the Eagles.
