Then teams like Raceland and Fairview wouldn't have the oppertunity to play the likes of Ashland, Greenup, Boyd, etc. I like the match-ups of the area schools: small vs big. It adds to the season when the big schools get knocked off. Boyd is playing well and sometimes you just run into games like this. Good luck to Fairview and Boyd in the playoffs.

I guess Highlands should be ashamed to play Beechwood or Johbnson Central for Paintsville.These small schools want these games more than the big schools do, they want the chance to show they can play with the big boys. They don't always win, but they fair pretty good in these games.

Well let's look at it this way. Ashland scheduled both Pikeville and Raceland and we know how those games went. Granted Ashland had a down year but it proves that the small schools can play with the big boys.

 

No matter the size of the school some of the smaller teams can field just as many athletes as a larger school.

Fairview has about 19 true athletes starting on their team, some more on the sidelines. IMO, Boyd has about 15 true athletes playing, so I believe no matter what size the school, you have as many true athletes out there playing as us, if not more. So no pity here, sorry.

I was glad to see The Eagles take on BC.I thought it was a good game after the first quarter.Eagles got started a little slow and maybe they will learn from it.

Just makes them more prepared for the Nov 9th Game.

That date and the ones after is what count.
