  1. Bottom line: Only time will tell. Once the regionals are held there, we will know if the gym can handle it. If not, then we will know better for future reference. If it can, then great! We will have another place for a rotation! No use crying over spilled milk that is still in the glass!
  2. No no, wear that ROYAL blue!!
  3. I was just getting ready to say that Carly deserves the credit here. I know that she is "training" Kenton. She has put many years of hard work in for the Royals. She takes her job very seriously, and it shows! Good job Carly. I know that the players, fans, coaches, and everyone else appreciates your hard work!
  4. If someone gets a chance please post a score after the game on Saturday. The game being the Deming and Harrison County freshman game.
  5. Long day of basketball! I'll take Mason in this game in February, and the game in March! :dancingpa
  6. Does anyone know when the 37th district championship will be for Freshmen?
  7. The 10th Region Freshmen Tournament looks to be held at Clark County next week sometime. Does anyone have any updates from the 37th and 38th district tournaments?
  8. 39th District Freshman Champions Mason Co. Royals Mason Beat Bracken Co. 34-20 Mason Beat St. Pat 59-34
  9. 39th district finals: Mason Co. beat Bracken Co. 34-20. & then played St. Pat in the finals of the freshman district. Mason Co. beat St. Pat 59-34. If anyone has any other scores from around the region please post.
  10. Not so sure about that. They cancelled FRIDAY game, but I don't think they have cancelled Saturday games.
  11. Well, I am here to congratulate Coach Simms on a great win! I think it is so funny how everyone wants to cry (boo hoo) about refs all the time. Anyway, good job Simms!
  12. ^ Yes, that business is out already.
  13. I think it is great exposure for kids and a great experience to travel. My issue comes with the cost. What do the kids do that don't have the money for this? I do not know much about AAU, so maybe there are programs for these kids to help?
  14. I thought I heard something about Jarrod not making it at Pikeville, and is either back home now, or not playing ball anymore?? Maybe a grade situation? Hopefully I have the story right. Not 100% sure about this one.
  15. I agree that it should be done by seeding. It should come down to what has happened over the season with all of the hard work by those teams. Not by just getting "lucky" at the end of season and getting in. That basically tells those kids, Hey don't worry about the season, we still have a chance at the end!! It should reflect the whole season of play.
  16. Mason County for sure. Might go as far as saying Mason by 25!!
  17. Why aren't you playing Mason County? Also, I think that Mason Freshman beat Brossart, didn't they? Or did they beat CC? Or both?
  18. I agree with you. However, being a Coach is a difficult thing. Everyone likes to hear praise, even coaches. Especially with everything that they have to hear from people who try to tell them how to do their job. We ALL know that EVERYONE thinks they know the best way that basketball should be played. I am sure those guys would like to hear something positive from time to time!
  19. I am sure that this is something they would like to hear about.
  20. Is that confirmed?
  21. I would go with Mike Code also. I do also respect Chris O'Hearn from Mason County.
