Before tonights loss to Boyd Co, I don't believe Rowan had lost a home game. Granted, they haven't played a team as good as Mason at home.

 

Rowan did lose to Clark Co on the road by 22

 

Maybe Rowan can keep it close for a while, but I would say Mason by 10-15

Rowan should give Mason a good game; especially if Mason doesn't come out any stronger than they did in the first half last night against Fleming. I think Rowan beat Fleming by almost 40 not too long ago.

 

Mason has shown a tendency to let lesser teams stay with them for a half or so; they may be guilty of playing to the level of competition a little bit, then turning it on when necessary.

 

Additionally, the Royals have a game on Saturday against Madison Central. May want to keep a little gas in the tank; but on the other hand these are high school boys - they SHOULD have no problems playing games on back-to-back days.

 

I'll say Mason 68, Rowan 62 if Daniel is hot from distance; Mason 72, Rowan 56 if he isn't.

Mason by 19.

Rowan Co is a tuff place to play, I see the Royals winning ,but it may not be the margin that most may expect. Hope they don't over look the Vikings to their matchup with Madison Central.

Rowan County lost one of their starters last night and he is out for 3 weeks. I haven't been able to get clarification as to which player it was.

Ill say Royals in a closer then excpected one 72-66 going to Rowan and blowing out the Vikings is a hard thing to do no matter what team you are.

I had no idea that 81-82 team went undefeated til the loss in the state finals.

 

Cannot wait to experience that Saturday night.
