Ive heard the same also Budman and seen the same in the 8th region. Seems like alot of fouls being called that were not in the past.

brooke is the jr blonde pg. small and fast and can shoot. hannah is the taller brown haired sophmore wing.that shoots the deep 3s. They dont look much alike.but compliment the others game well.

Yeah just heard that shots were wide open and GC couldnt get anything to go. Give credit to TC as they sound improved and play well at home.

Yeah both sisters are athletic and fun to watch but heard they went 0 for from the 3 pt line in close to 10 attempts which is hard to believe giving the stroke they have. FDR was Gallatin closely guarded forcing shots or just off the mark.

I would say Connor big in this one.

Maybe im bias. Seems like the 8th has been underated the past few yrs. Anderson looked good against Assumption also.

Not knowing all the teams that were there who would Carroll of been competitive with on the schedule? And don't they have a new coach.

I doubt it. Shes more 5"3. I thought B.Dossett should of been higher and was surprised her sister didnt make the list. I suspect they split votes. Cant argue much about the team rankings. After.checking the khsaa website most of the top teams play head to head this year. Cant wait to see Sk and gallatin. Owings and Dossett go head to head. Watched them this summer and Dossett got the best of her. Enjoy watching both play. See how it goes in season. I hear GC has a top notch gym.

Pretty good start. Seeing SK play alot this summer and last year, they have looked very good but I would start them at 4. They will miss H. Stephenson and her ability to shoot, drive and defend. I would put Anderson #2 as I think they are the most talented team and could very well win it. I agree with WV at 1. Though they will have some holes with the loss of their shooters they still have two of the best post and are well coached. Also when you win the region 2 straight years you should start at 1. I would put Gallatin at 3. I saw GC and SK both play South in the region last year. I thought GC took South to the wire and had everyone back. Saw them and SK at the Thomas More camp and they BOTH looked good. Gallatin was very impressive as they ran the table and were the talk of camp. Their guards, athleticism, style of play and unselfishness was fun to watch. I didnt see any big time post or height but I did see a super athletic forward. She was the best athlete on the floor every game. Though it's way to early here is my list. 1) WV 2) Anderson 3) Gallatin 4) Simon Kenton 5) Owen 6) South 7) Collins 8) Grant 9) Oldham 10) Shelby

I meant Boone winning the district. Though they may be down I wouldnt be surprised if they won it.

Thats fair enough. I do think Boone will be down and far from winning the state but I still think they will end up winning that district. Plus you never know what their roster will look like by the time season starts. I do think Cooper will be better especially watering the schedule down some. Their district was tough enough but looking at the KHSAA scoreboard their out of district and region games were tough. Not sure as a starter school they are ready for that but I understand it preparing for proabably the toughest district in the 9th. Just hope the Cooper girls stay. I have heard there is alot of middle school talent that may not end up playing at Cooper. I hope not.

I heard most if not all the Cooper players were on the second team that placed 5th in the D2 AAU Nationals. Still quite a accomplishment as it can only help the high school program. Doesnt a Cooper parent run the Shining Stars? Thats probably why most Cooper players were on the team.

Just asking because I am not very familiar with the Ohio teams. Who are the top teams in the Cincinnati area. I know Mt. Notre Dame is usually a power. Who are the other top Cincy teams.

I agree Highlands looked different without Schafer which would be expected. Didnt get to see Ryle. Thought Simon looked good and were without Owings and Bosse. A fan said Gallatin was without 4 of their top 8 including a leading scorer.

Hopefully nothing serious. She is a very unselfish player. Which KY teams looked good.

As a parent I understand wanting good dedicated coaching but looks to me Cooper fans greatly overvalued their teams talent level. Coaches good or bad only win if they have talent. I really believe coaching may improve wins and loses by 5 or less. Talent wins games in most cases. I hope the new coach is not instantly on the hot seat, but they will be if the fans and parents honestly think they will have a 20 win season. Maybe some day after this new school gets established and accumulates more talent. But the only way it happens in the next few years is if they severely water their schedule down IMO.

Watched them play Gallatin at Beechwood camp and they were dominated from start to finish. Looks like it could be a long year

I didnt see alot of talent there. This is after seeing them the past 3 years.
