  1. True and I find it strange that we do not require college professors to take any education courses. They are trained in a subject but not in teaching methods.
  2. In that case was there a defect in the helmet?^
  3. Reddell didn't properly warn him? How did they come to that conclusion? All helmets have the warning on them.
  4. Man Hunter is the first version of the Red Dragon. Brian Cox plays Lecter. If you want some movies that are a little bit on the creepy side there is Hard Candy and Funny Games (not the american version). If you like Silence of the Lambs there was a series that was on HBO called Epithas that was good
  5. What offense does fit a slow release and being not real accurate? It is going to be interesting to see how it all shapes out. If you look at the Texas Tech years they didn't exactly have world beaters at QB. The guys put up numbers but it wasn't like any of them would of been starters any where else for the most part. Like others have said the offense is not designed around the verticale passing game though it can attack in that manner. Its all about numbers, leverage and green grass.
  6. Wow! That should make things interesting and fuel the competition.
  7. We follow the same heat rules as the hs teams do. If a coach doesn't then they are putting their players, themselves and the school district in danger. I'm not sure I see an issue. Hs have to join or they wouldn't be able to find games. Ms can just not join and keep doing what they are doing. I don't see how they can force schools to join
  8. We don't do it because in someone's eyes it is not giving every student an equal chance. In other countries they split kids across the board by ability. Past having maybe an honors class or an advanced class we aren't allowed to do it. Other countries treat special education differently than we do.
  9. It always gets me when we compare our education system to other countries. We are not playing on a level playing field. Other countries can track and remove students in ways that we cannot. In some of these countries students are identified by middle school age if they will continue on a college course or begin being trainged in more of a vocational training path. So we are comparing our whole to their top part.
  10. I am Legend is a remake of The Omega Man. Some might not consider it a zombie movie but more of a mutant/vampire type movie. The characters are not dead though
  11. If he made his own shirt he wouldn't be able to us the schools logo, design, and few other things. He could be sued by the NCAA and/or the school. He doesn't own any of those things. Now a plain shirt/jersey with his name and number sure.
  12. On the free education side it's not that cut and dry. Your scholarship is a year to year contract. They can decide to pull it. Of course in basketball you can leave after a year but in football you have to wait 3 years past your graduting class. I see the players point on feeling exploited. Currently it's the price they pay to further their careers. I think basketball is one sport that this shirt issue could come up. In other sports they often wear a decal or a patch. I think they should of just given them to the players. In the end this might bite the NCAA in the tail.
  13. I guess you're not a Game of Throne fan then. That's a show that has a lot going on at once. Great show btw. I thought they were crazy for doing the show but I have to admit I like it. As the series goes on I think the town becomes more of the story the Bates family sort of takes us through it
  14. They might teach it. I've been to a few different qb where they teach that. I think JLo held the ball high also.
  15. Coach huey. The thread is in the passing game section. There is a picture of Towles throwing and people are breaking down his motion.
  16. On another website I go too they are breaking down Towles throwing motion. I would like to see Towles as the qb but honestly it's because I like the kid
  17. I don't know where the thread is but I believe you can get old title games from EKU
  18. Yes the QB can run. There was a clip on one of the horseman highlights where they had him run zone read. It was down near the GL and the LB wanted no part of him. Arena ball is a good fit for him with the his size and arm. As far as people saying stuff like let it go or hand it up. If he can play and has the chance to why not? Football is one of the few sports that when its done its done for you. You can't go to the Y and put on a helmet or join a church league.
  19. 50 tall boys or 67 regular long necks in beer
  20. It is legal. Why would it not? They interviewed and maybe didnt like what was left. I will admit Sphire is interesting because I think he has been coaching in Georgia or Alabama.
  21. Well the whole statement is sort of all over the place. I think it is one of those things he more you look at the more it doesn't exactly say what you think it says. 1) average white: It just say white. Earlier it states about racial and ethinic groups so we can assume that certain ethinic groups that would be take out of the white category. It also makes it sound like they are using whites from all over the world. 2) Blacks in United States and many other western countries: So in this case they are going to exclude certain parts of the black population due to enviroment. 3) Hispanics: They make the statement here as if they are including the entire population. There is a very large difference between enviromental factors of those people on average grouping up in poor hispanic countries and say hispanics living here in the Unidted States. Yet unlike the black population they do not appear to exclude. 4) Native Americans: that is pretty straight forward 5) Japanese and Chinese Americans: Once again they are using a selection of a population instead of the population of the race/ethinic group. From my limited experience much of that population come to the United States because of jobs that have relocated them to the US. These are educated people who also believe education is important. The last portion I don't know enough to comment about. So the information is using portions of some populations and whole parts of others. In some cases it appears to be taking enviromental factors into play and in other cases it appears not to. There are many enviromental factors in general and lifestyle/ethinic factors that apply to the out come.
  22. I get it. I say 180 but someone else did a much better job explaining why people screw up the term. Not everyone is a nerd ( I am) or thinks on that level.
  23. So when you do the hockie pokie you stop at 180 degrees when you turn yourself around?
