Where is the QB from Reitz headed to after this year?

Bellevue Dariy Freeze-Tom Fowler, Rick Atkins, Greg Parrott are a few from the past. They were always on top every year that i remeber. And man could they play some ball. I know i am not remeber more.

The 1st game will be NCC and Simon Kenton. It is the first bowl game that Newport has had at the Staduim. I hope it goes well for them.

David Simpson was an AMAZING athlete when he was at Newport

The N will be gone from the helmet, back the early 80's logo. I think it was one of their best.

Newport will be going away from the N they have had for the past 2 years. They will be going back to the 1980's look witht the C wrapping around into a claw and spelling out cats....

JJ at his best

JJ signed a preferred walk-on at Murray State. He said he'll probably be playin DB

From what i hear it will be senior Tommy Wilson. He was Hesch's back up when Hesch was a junior. However i have also hears there is a freshman coming in from the middle school who is absolutely sick. So who knows at this point.

Well i can say on this point, last year the umpire made a player on our team color the logo from white to red to match the label. The white letters were the problem on the glove. So i guess it is up to the umpire.

Congrats to Coach Hyder. Good coach and will work hard for the team. Good Luck.

2 years ago NCC didnt have a choice but to use a different field in the playoffs because them and Newport both had home field advantage unless of course NCC wanted to play on Saturdays.

anybody know who pitched for Newport?

For Newport: 1. How will the team hold up with the loss of Coach Schlarman? 2. QB is a big question, word has it a freshman could come in and start next year 3. How will they compete in the new alignment with NCC in their district?

I heard that too at the baseball game last night. I didnt know that they were staying inside. But good luck and congrats Coach Hyder.

Newport LB Chase Barger signed to play at Hanover

Dayton 1st base her name is Best Bellevue had a few good players and man did they surpise me with there play this year. 23-12 record. That is a great season for them. Now back to good players. Kennedy for Bellevue at 3rd. I can Scott has the Penick girl is good. Lot of good players really.

I dont know who the coach will be, but i know that they have 3 good ones inside the building. Meyers, Ritter, and Hyder. I can say Hensley was a good one to pick, but the last time he was not the 2nd choice. I hope that they pick one soon and before June starts. Does anyone know if they have anyone from outside applied yet?

Troy is already D-1.... they won the New Orleans Bowl last year beating the day lights out of Rice

you should take a closer look... like on the field, it is one of the softest i've ever been on

the 2005 Newport Wildcats had a nice entrance... they would walk out of the locker room and into a tent full of smoke and once there is enough smoke to where you can't see the person next to you they would run onto the field with the smoke rolling out and "Welcome to the Jungle" being played....

Newport has nice facilities now. The new lighting, new score board, new concession, and restrooms up graded. I think it is one of the better ones, but Dixie has the best but spent a lot of money to make it happen for them. But like someone said earlier, they all have good and bad point on each staduim.

He will be working with the offensive line. Troy State is a division I school.

Will any coach make a move this late? Newport now has great facilities to play and practice on.

John was a great coach for the Wildcats. He will be miss as well as his family. He did great things for them in such a short time. GOOD LUCK at Troy coach. Now the search for a new coach. Who will be ready to make the move?
