Just from listening to the Mason Co. fans you would think Maysville was the only city in the 10th region that has hotels and restaurants.

As I said in the previous thread, Ashland is not for sale, and I would like to meet the poster that could afford them if they were. :lol: The animosity some of you have towards the Ashland program and fanbase is quite comical though. It gives me a good laugh at least once a day.

Actually the reason I couldn't tell was because the pictures weren't showing up in my browser. They still don't, for whatever reason, when I use firefox. I checked them out with another browser though.

Where did I once say anything directed toward Johnson Central? I was just responding to the other posters comment on "Ashland one day being succesful" again. I dont know, nor care what school they support.

Speaking of Marques, is he in school anywhere right now? I remember hearing about him going to a Juco I think? I always thought he had the potential to play high-major D1 ball if he spent a year or two at a Juco.

Yeah it's a shame Ashland hasn't had any success over the past few years. The 9 win seasons just aren't gonna cut it much longer!

Can you explain this? What defines looking at? Can the KHSAA tell a college coach he can't come watch a high school basketball game? Obviously Im not part of the RH camp, but this rule just sounds absurd.

I agree with that, Boyle's record is deceiving. But this is also a down year for Boyle based on their recent past. I still believe they are a good football team. I just don't buy that they and Lafayette are as good as the other poster claimed, neither school would beat Ashland 8 times in a 10 game series, IMO. I have no idea what any of this has to do with this thread though. :confused:

Actually, yes I have. I caught the Lafayette - Boyle Co. game a few weeks ago, when I was in town to see UK play the following day. Lafayette looked pretty good in their beating of a down Boyle County team that was 1-3 after the game I believe. I think Lafayette won by a field goal? But I wouln't say they looked good enough to win 80% of their games against the Ashland team I watched play Greenup Friday night.

Dicky Martin is the best play by play announcer in this state, hands down.

Ovbiously Ashland isn't exempt from rumors or you wouldn't be bringing it up.

As far as your hatred towards Ashland, I'll go with my first instincts on that one.

Shhh! You can't speak highly of anything involving Ashland or the haters will start coming out of the woodwork and this thread will turn into chaos! :lol: But yes, you are correct. It is absolutely one of the best gameday atmosphere's in the state, it has a college feel to it. The field is bermuda and almost perfect, although there are talks of installing field turf. As you walk in, everything sits below you and the seating is horeshoe shaped. The entire stadium is concrete with metal and wooden bleachers on top of the concrete, also adding to the college stadium feel. A lot of small colleges would love to have a place like Putnam to call home. Now that I've posted this I think I'll call Vegas and get the over/under on how long it will take for the negative comments to start rolling in.
