Congrats to Owen, you played a good game. Carroll you will get them next time! Any stats out there? Carroll was in some Foul trouble as was Toole for Owen. Carroll did not block out well. Hats of to Owen for hitting the boards so hard.

Way to go Panthers..sounds like Coach Yager is getting this team the way he wants them. I wish that I could have seen this game!

I think Grant will win this one also.. but it depends on how well WV shoots. One thing about WV, everyone talks about how young they are but the reality is that they start 2 seniors, 1 junior, 1 Soph and a freshman. That is the same for many of the small schools, so they have more experience than you think. I think some may take them lightly because we have not seen some of these players play because they had so many seniors last year and they did not get a lot of playing time.

Friday night at Owen Co. This will be a good match-up between these teams. I predict the Panthers will pull this out by 5.

I think Gallatin will win this one but it will be close. Henry plays well at home. Gallatin by 8.

Any team you play, you will see the defense clamp down on whoever seems to be the biggest threat. Stith and Jones were probably identified that way and fortunately 2 others stepped up and had big games for both teams. That is why I think there are so many players in the 8th that are even. Plus the Demon Dome is a hard place to play.!

Not sure what this has to do with it. As a matter of fact I think that most of the players in the 8th except for a few are about even. Stith was outstanding last year and the season is too young to really draw any conclusion about her or Jones for that matter. I would hate to judge either on just a few games.

I am going with Anderson County in this one. I think they will surprise Nelson Co.

I think this one is a re-match of last years all A an is too close to call. Williamstown had a huge home court advantage. Should be a good match-up.

I think they are going to be very good in the future and are a good team now. They are really tough at home. They certainly have the size, especially compared to Carroll.

North Oldham always is mentioned in the preseason previews ( when a lot of teams are never mentioned.) That makes my expectations high and then unfortunately every year they striggle with injuries at the beginning of the season. I would like to see them give SO and Oldham a run in their district. Maybe this year the previews will be right. Sorry.. maybe hype was not the right word.

Congrats to Owen. Good Luck to North Oldham, it seems every year they have an injury at the beginning of the season, I hope they get back soon.

Unfortunately, North Oldham has never lived up to any of the pre-season hype and I do not look for this year to be any different. I think they will get better as the year goes on and may end up with a better record than last year. Owen Co. should win this one easily.
