I think that before people start bashing players (logan #5) for trying to hurt someone they need to realize that they don't know that person what so ever to make a comment like that. As for the ones that know the game plan. Do you really? Or was this just a typical district game agains the top team and a team that played their heart's out on the floor. For people to say west tried to beat them up alittle is crazy. I think coach webb can see who the stronger (phyiscally, muscular) team is and plus he has alittle experience to know that a smaller team can't come in and muscle around a stronger team and expect to win or compete. Foul trouble kept some of the Elliott players on the bench in the second and it wasn't untill the 1:25 mark that all of Elliott starters were out of the game. Even when the score got to 29 pts. the West team cut the lead with 4 of Elliott's starters in the game.

It is a requirement of the KHSAA or report scores to them to be posted on the website... Not sure but think they can be a penalty for this if it's not being accomplished to their standards.. As for local t.v. and newspaper they don't have to report anything if it's not sent in to them, that is left up to the host school..However, we sure don't see them getting outside of Boyd county very often..

If I heard correctly they had 4 players that did not play in there scrimmage with Ironton and 2 of those four played in the J.V. game which was a runaway for the Comets.

West 72 Boyd 48 Not sure if Boyd can handle West pressure that they have been putting on people this year.

Did you happen to see West beat Huntington High by 12 at Heart of the Parks?

Just wanted to hear some thoughts on what this score might be like? I'd say West by 20... around 70-50

West Carter will be fine this year, playing alittle different style from last year, but with Webb and staff at the reigns things will be fine... However don't be suprised if you see some new faces stepping up there game (B.A. Oney, Taylor Webb) along with Puckett and Rayburn..

I agree West Staff did a great job....Due to the degree of the accident and what all happened it was something that just could not be brushed off....Hate to see a kid leave like that... Congrats on the rest of West's team for battling and playing hard..... Showed some of that Comet Pride that Coach Webb has been putting in to his players this year...

Maybe one of the best down to the wire game I've seen in a long time, Hope the shooting team shows up for East cause if not, It could be a long game for them on the big floor...Congrats East

Played for one year somewhere in Florida and then followed one of those assistants out west to I thing Oregon, Ashland Daily ran a short article about his move a few years ago...But correct me if I'm wrong...

East by 15, East guards are just much better....look for Morgan to struggle in the T.O category and ability to get up shots

To go anywhere in this region it takes guards, that take care of the ball and can score, look at Rose Hill, Elliott, Rowan, Russell, Ashland, Greenup, all the good teams have guards several others have quality big guys but nothing surrounding them, that's why Morgan is in the growing stage.... and will find it difficult to win ball games this year...

Rose Hill are you serious they've been the laughing stock of the 16th untill about 4 or 5 years ago....Some of these schools have only produced 1 or 2 college ball teams in the last 5 or 6 years...I'm talking about shools that produce college players year in and year out....

Do your research Transy does give Scholarships....
