West Carter 81 Menifee Co. 74

Featured Replies

Final. Anyone have any updates on the kid from Menifee that got hurt?

I do know that he spent the night at the Mt. Sterling hospital for observation, and I believe he was released this morning. Docs did numerous xrays/scans prior to determining that there was not a fracture in his back/neck. Last I heard there was a possibility of a pulled back/neck muscle and/or strained ligament(s).

Hopefully just muscle related and he can return, without any problems. Please keep everyone advised, to his status. Send best wishes, from everyone at BGP.

It's great to hear that it wasn't to serious. Congrats to West Carter on the win. Any stats?

Sorry to hear about the kid from Menifee. Hope all is well and he can have a quick return to the floor. The only thing that I heard was that Rayburn had 24 points.

I spoke with the boy's mother today and she said that he had just pulled muscles and strained ligaments in his neck (similar to whiplash). He is wearing a neck brace right now to provide support and may be able to play in the Christmas tournaments after the stiffness goes away.

well its good to hear that the kid wasnt injured badly and that he will be back on the court again soon. but congrats to comets, keep it up

Congrats WC
