What do you all think of West Carter this year. They have some good talent that just moved up from the 8th grade. Might take a couple of years for that talent to show, however I hadnt heard much about what they have for this season.

With coach Webb your team is in good hands, who are the players moving up?

Cody Stamper, Dereck Lawson, Bret Tacket, and Macinzee (cant remember his last name) if he plays. They are all freshmen now and were great in the 8th grade. West Carter won the OVC with them last year. Its odd when you see the talent change from last year to this year. Last year West middle stomped Elliott middle by a large margin, this year Elliott has done that to West Carter.

Brett Tackett transfered to Rowan County so that will hurt them a lot in the future.

The 16th should be interesting in the next few years.

Elliott's middle school team was made up of mostly 5th graders last year.

I believe McKinze might be to McGlone kid who played some runningback for the varsity football team.

McKenzie McGlone plays football and baseball. He doesn't play basketball.

I was getting ready to say that. Big Mack McGlone could have played, but he is strickly a football/baseball player. Bret Tackett is at Rowan County. The Freshmen who are at West are good player though, but for some reason I don't think a whole lot of them are playing. I could be wrong about that though. For this years West team, they are probably somewhere in the 7-12 range in the region. Rayburn, Logan, and Puckett will be there big players. Also, Corey Oney playing again should help.

I know Mckenzie does dont play basketball that is why I said if he plays. However I have seen him play basketball and he is very good, also he could add some size to West Carter. Would be a great player if he would play.

West Carter will be fine this year, playing alittle different style from last year, but with Webb and staff at the reigns things will be fine... However don't be suprised if you see some new faces stepping up there game (B.A. Oney, Taylor Webb) along with Puckett and Rayburn..
