21 point win on the road was pretty impressive. my guess would be that EC pulled of the dogs

The game was in Elliott and yes . . . we had 1/2 of our starters out of the game the 2nd and 4th quarters. By the last minutes of the game not a single starter was on the floor.

 

West played a VERY PHYSICAL game. The 1st quarter was a game with more fouls in that quarter than a normal half. A couple of T's and intentional fouls called the 1st half and another T called the 2nd half. WC's strategy appeared to be to come in and try to rattle the Lions but EC prevailed.

Closer than I thought...West Carter did put up some points in this game.

West seemed to have a game plan of nothing but rough play, but Elliott held their composure. Elliott had a 30 point lead halfway through the 4th quarter when they pulled the starters. The refs completely lost control of this one early in the game. Ferguson had 35 and 8 rebounds. Ethan Faulkner had 21 and Evan Faulkner had 14. Knipp stayed in ffoul trouble and ididn't play over a quarter and and half. Very ugly game.

It will be a victory if someone can keep a loss to Elliott under 30.

Just a thought but I am not sure it was the striped shirts to blame for all the whistles. Were they experienced?

East Carter gave Elliott some tough games last year, Elliott will still win going away, but I could see East giving them a game for a couple quarters.

He said refs lost control EARLY in the game, and they did. After a near slugfest then they started calling all the fouls and technical's and such.

I just spoke with one of the administrators and he said that in the first 2 minutes and 31 seconds that there were 12 fouls called along with a technical and an intentional AND a double foul. I just think sometimes way too many of us want to automatically blame the refs. Thankless job is all I`ve got to say.

 

LOL He said that if a player got off the bus and slipped and fell someone would blame the refs. Maybe he`s right.
