Great win by the Raiders, great game to watch! Maybe some of the best head to head big man performances many will ever see. One great play after another, Barnhill's one dribble drop step to the middle for a two handed jam with Knipp going for the block and Knipp sizing up Barnhill on a breakaway pin on the board (was called for a foul but was impressive to see two guys meet at the top of the square like that). Won't see many players go head to head like that in high school ball ever.

My Question is, "So why have rules and got through the trouble of the investigation process. If no one puts their foot down and sticks their chest out and says NO to these rules issues". Nothing against either kid.

I'm saying East by 5 in a low scoring games espically if Elliott sets in that 2-3 zone like they did in the preseason all game against Ironton. REALLY INTERESTED to see if the Elliott crowd turns out this year game in and game out or if they ALL jumped off the BAND WAGON from the previous couple of years.

Rumor had it Ironton was Missing 20 players off the team due to Football, So IMO not a good test for the lions since from watching the game Ironton may have only played two players that would see any varsity time at all, the rest was freshmen and j.v. players that were weak and very unexperienced. We will see what the lions have soon enough with the season just around the bend.

Haven't seen alot of information on the preseason games. Does anyone have any teams, locations, dates, and times of games for 16th Region teams in the next two weeks? I know West Carter and East Carter Has there two; Jack Fultz Classic: Nov. 21 @ West Carter Elliott vs. ? at ? East vs. ? at ? West vs. ? at ? Heart of the Parks: Nov. 28 @ East Carter West vs. ? at ? East vs. ? at ? Any help would be appreciated

Just wondering if anyone seen the same thing I seen sitting on the opposite of Elliott's bench, but the F-Twins were laughing and cutting up when T. Knipp went down. I know that I would have been alittle concerned seeing my 6'8 center lying on the floor with a sprained ankle espically having hopes and dreams of advancing deep into the state tournament. I don't want to get anything started but was just wondering. T. Knipp not being 100% at Rupp is a serious issue for Elliott. But all in all Great Job Elliott, Best of Luck the rest of the way...

As of right now assuming Elliott beats East, 1# Elliott, 2 is East, 3 is West, 4 is Morgan. Here's a twist even if East would happen to beat Elliott, West is still the 3 and Morgan is still the 4. So it Don't Matter, it's set in stone now. Elliott vs. Morgan and West vs. East all @ East Carter High School

There was no slapping of the floor for the T. Talked to coach webb and other coach's on the staff, Coldiron told coach webb that the Oney kid "are you kidding me", in my opinion a two possion ball game (west down 4) and you make a call like that is pretty bold espically with what Coldiron let the east staff do at the end of the half. Webb got a T for arguing with Coldiron on how in the world you call a T on a kid for saying, "are you kidding me". Heated game, rival game, district game all adds up to alot of emotions, if it was foul language then I would understand. If you were setting close enough to the bench Coldiron called another foul on East and the West coaching staff were all yellin "are you kidding me" at coldiron pretty funny for a vetern official. :popcorn:

Could be a coin flip in this one!!! Should just stand at half court flip a coin and see who gets the ball first, that will be the winner. But in all seriousness, I would say that West takes this one in another dog fight by 5.

Who knows with the way East has been playing but I would say east by 10+

Elliott by 25+, East can't guard all of them espically at the guard position.

West by 10 with free throws being the difference down the stretch!!! However going to be a tough low scoring game, Cooksey is a defensive master mind that will keep his team in just about any game. Go Comets!!!! 12-3

They haven't played since Tuesday night, and I seen one of the boy's on Wednesday and they said that Coach Webb gave them Wednesday off, so I'm sure they will be well rested and as hungry as ever!!!!

Okay lets get this right. Joy Rayburn and Terrell Webb and Dennie Webb are Brother and Sisters. Joy is the Mother of Aaron and Terrell is the father of Taylor. Jeremy Webb is a 1st cousin to Joy and Terrell and Dennie. So therefore Aaron and Taylor is coach Webb's second cousin. The one thing that I do know is they are from a huge family that has had alot of ball players.

And apparently I recieved some wrong information on the Twins.. Sorry to all on lookers and readers.
