  1. Rowan didn't offer him a big deal and then go back on him like they did the girls bball coach did they?
  2. Everyone can not be nominated! Farris has the best chance of making all state out of all the running backs in NKY.
  3. They all don't play as good as competition as you mention but they do all scrimmage.
  4. What about Eckstein at Bellevue?
  5. Good luck to you too GrizzlyAdams, next yr!
  6. Notre Dame, Boone Co, Highlands, NCC, Holmes, Conner, Ludlow in no particular order!
  7. Read what I marked in bold lettering, you are comparing Dayton to Beechwood by what you said. Never have I taken a shot at a Birds' fan, as you put it, you just have a complex I guess. Opinions are great and yes, everyone is entitled to have one, just sometimes opinions are best kept to ourselves:sssh: I wish I could some how take everyones bets on this game who think Bellevue is going to win. It would be very interesting to see how many put the money up to back up their opinions. Beechwood knows what they have to do. A very disappointing game last week performance wise but they still took care of business and won, just in an ugly way. Like was stated on another thread, the good teams beat the teams they are suppose to beat no matter the hand they are dealt. The last Bellevue game, Beechwood played w/out 4 two way starters. Look out, they are all ready to go this week.:thumb:
  8. Right on, I would compare Dayton to Beechwood, therefor Bellevue is a lock to win Friday night. I have never seen a comment from a HHS fan be so clueless, comparing Dayton to Beechwood is completely rediculous, IMO. Of course, anything can happen but on paper and being realistic, Beechwood will win Friday, and easily at that. Who will stop the run-away freight train and the quick footed Teipel and Elliott especially w/man child blocking at FB for them.
  9. I will agree w/you 100% but think about what you are saying here, you are contradicting yourself basically. You are upset w/the Beechwood people for saying that Bellevue don't have a shot and on the other hand saying what is wrong w/Bellevue believing they can win. Well, what is the difference for the Beechwood fans to think that Bellevue don't have a chance. It is called an opinion, which obviously everyone has. What is "proven their metal" mean? Per Grizzly, I am afraid that Bellevue will get a first hand look at a very healthy, soft hitting Beechwood team on Friday.
  10. Are you ever serious? Dayton should have won this game!
  11. This is the greatest "locker room" material ever posted on BGP:laugh:
  12. All you Bellevue/Dayton fans are great. If you did not think your team could win, well, you all should have your heads examined. However, pinch yourself and face reality. Grizzly: Bellevue will not and can not stop Beechwood's offense. Yes, they were winning in the first qt the first game, so what. The final score is all that matters. Beechwood never starts out very fast against certain teams, meaning, they always play to the level of their competition. Poet: You are dreaming if you think Bellevue is the only team in KY that can beat Beechwood. Beechwood, if fully healthy, runs away w/this one. It's playoff time. These kids expect to be practicing on Thanksgiving morning, it's a learned concept.
  13. Not after the way they played the first half last night. They will be a different bunch the rest of the yr.
  14. So, who wins the rematch? Does Mayfield avenge their first district loss since the beginning of time or is Fulton City for real?
  15. I understand your analogy, cute, but I will make a bet that Ludlow has the cleanest jersey's.:jump:
  16. It would be more of a reliable tourney if the entire state played in this. When will this state catch up w/the rest of the country and make everyone do the same thing, too much division throughout the entire state. Some/most schools are just having tryouts for their middle school teams and now you read "8th grade middle school state tournament!" How do you have a state tournament w/out the entire state involved?
  17. You hit the nail on the head!:thumb:
  18. Wait until Beechwood unleashes their secret weapon tomorrow against Ludlow, it will be a shocker:sssh:
  19. Exactly right. Everyone from Ludlow called BHS cake eaters and BHS called Ludlow river rats. The week of this game, Ludlow would smash cakes on the front steps and BHS would trap rats and release them in the school bldg. The rival of yrs past has disappeared between the two but it was a great one at one time.
  20. Everyone hates a winner. I would hope whoever comes out of this district, that the other teams would cheer for them to win the rest of the yr.
  21. All I know is that since the beginning of time, Beechwood fans have called Ludlow "river rats" and Beechwood were "cake eaters!" Never did BHS call Dayton/Bellevue river rats.
  22. Exactly right. Ludlow is hands down favorite in this district or at least they are suppose to be. Everyone says they have the DIII player of the yr on their team, only time will tell. That Boone transfer to Beechwood might raise some eyebrows from what I hear down south.
  23. I would think you want another shot at Beechwood not Ludlow. Now you want to take the easy way out. Dayton has gotten so much better since playing Beechwood so hopefully they will get to see how much they have improved next week.
