Any information/updates on who might be the new head coach next year!

Hopefully for the teams sake this will be done timely. The team has had to deal with this issue all year and were finaly able to play well at the end of the season.With all the talent coming back this could be a realy appealing job for the right coach out there. The juniors from this year are strong. The QB and TB all both back.This combinded with the soph class will give who ever is chosen as the next head coach tons of talent. The sophs were 9 and 1 as freshmen with key wins over New Cath and Beechwood last year to name a few.The incoming freshmen class were in the superbowl this year as well.Future looks bright for the JUGGS now we just need the coaching situation to be resolved.

To the out going seniors ay Lloyd thank you. You dealt with alot of adversity this year and never gave up. To the returning underclassmen the sky is the limit. Refocus and you can make Lloyd as good as you want. The new head coach hopefully will be chosen soon so next year is your year.

I agree this job will be appealing. I can imagine several NKY coaches will apply, but who is the question. There are several good young coaches at small school programs that may want a shot at a bigger school. However, the small school programs in NKY have great tradition and have also become attractive jobs.

Lloyd not exactly a "big school" job, and I'd think the Lloyd job would be less attractive since the reclassification? 2-A was a pretty good situation, especially in NKY with 4 classes, but with Lloyd now having to get past NCC each year, much tougher task? Still a lot of talent out that way, especially if you can get all them all to come out for football!!

Coach Eckstein is the Asst. Principal at Bellevue. I would think he'd take a pretty big pay cut to go to Lloyd and teach. Anything's possible though...

Ok, So far we have the current coaching staff and we heard that maybe coach Yeagle comes back plus there is a teacher at Lloyd now (may or may not be part of the current staff). Then we have Bellevue's coach.

I also heard in passing that Steve Lickert may apply.

Did I happen to miss any? :confused:
