  1. You really, really disappoint me not knowing Nic played at CovCath. Here are his stats from the Enquirer. 2. There's no way that will prevent them from being flat. How much do you really anticipate they will be able to work on that will keep them sharp? Practice over the weekend will be 100 times more important in their preparation by playing Bellevue. Craziest thing I've ever heard.
  3. The majority has Highlands winning. Except for the one point win over CovCath (yes, without Bondick), what is the signature win for Highlands to base this on? Help me out Bluebirds.
  4. Do people really think it matters whether Holmes starters play, don't play, win by one, win by 100 against Bellevue when Holmes plays in the semis on Monday and possibly in the finals on Tuesday? Do you really truly believe that will matter. If the answer is no, can we please move on? This is about the most mindless discussion I have ever read. How about some Bluebirds telling me how happy Willie was with his draw?
  5. Here's what I heard. When Highlands drew CovCath in the first round, Willie looked like the Scott dad from last night. Why is it that the topic has to be what was CovCath's reaction?
  6. Arrez had a great game offensively including the OT. He averages about 18 a game and had 18 the end of regulation. Average game for him for four quarters.
  7. I thought writing about ALL the dunks would have gotten boring!
  8. Conner has the real beef. They got three sentences and knocked off a 9th region contender.
  9. The interest in a 27 point blow out is off the charts. Steal......dunk........steal............dunk............steal.........dunk. Now that's news.
  10. Hammertime, you stole my thunder man. I'm so behind on my high def watching replays in this Tenn/Vandy game! I can't believe you beat me to this punch, but three players get their 2000th point in the same night, two in the same game, and two from Mason County. I'm looking over my shoulder for Rod Sterling. (do do do do do do do do)
  11. I could not agree more Flotsam. My point is Maverick likes to throw around his/her inside information about coaching changes as they said almost word for word in another thread that it was also not Horton's choice to leave. I said nothing about comparing the two men.
  12. Wow Maverick, you said the same thing about Coach Horton. Must be nice to be privy to so much insider information with the CCH administration in regards to coaching changes.
  13. Also Mark Moeves (sp) and throw in Phil Davis and I think Mo Green.
  14. Are you kidding me??? Highlands lost to Holy Cross and Boone lost by 20 at Holmes. What planet are you on??? CovCath clearly #2 with Bondick back.
  15. Good one Sticky. I enjoy you're posts. You're a great Bluebird.
  16. Isn't if funny Oldguy that no matter what the outcome of a game, when Highlands is involved it always ends about the future of Highlands' program?
  17. I think you'd better go back and re-check LexCath and Mason County. Sounds like a guess and I think you're wrong. Interesting you would pick a team that CovCath beat, so if they pressed the "whole" game, I don't think it worked out very well for them. Let me ask the question again, how many teams in Northern Kentucky press the whole game. Not many and in the past years, Holmes hardly at all against the Colonels.
  18. Name a high school team in the time frame you are talking about that pressed or presses the entire game.
  19. I know this is not the thread for this discussion, so this will be my last post about it. I totally understand the team play this year, but last year's Bulldogs would be at least a 6 point favorite against this year's team.
  20. Bold considering they went to the state semi's.
  21. This year's team is very good, but I'll take Austin Hill, Duran Jefferson, Greg Rice, Arez Henderson and Josh Nelson every day of the week and twice on Sundays.
  22. After what I've seen, I would put Avery in the top 10 in the region. If he's not, CovCath is the clear #1 team based on how many players they have mentioned in this thread.
  23. McGraw and Simpson are very, very close.
  24. Am I kidding? What are you talking about. Beechwood still has to play HC, Beechwood is pretty good, they are at Beechwood, anything can happen. Why discount them like this and assume HC will win. Until HC wins, the #3 and #4 seeds are unknown. Nothing funny about this.
  25. They play Tuesday in the All 'A' and not until Feb 6 at Beechwood which will be the seeding game. Romas should be back by then also and at Beechwood, could be interesting.
