Covington Holy Cross Coach Bruce Kozerski had an emergency Appendectomy this afternoon. My prayers for a full and speedy recovery.

No your right the players were in their locker room. The decision not to play the next day was made on the field. As far as making a come back that would have been something to see. A team 30 points down with 57 total yards offense it would have been unbelieveable. I think Coach Eckstein is a great Coach. Part of being a great Coach is knowing what's best for your team. IMO Coach Eckstein did the right thing. Good luck to your Tigers the rest of the year.

Just a note Holy Cross kicker Sean Dornbush had a 45yard field goal (in the rain)as time ran out in the first half. Sean kicked 4 out of 5 kickoffs well into the endzone for a touch back. Only 5 of Sean's kickoff's have been returned all year. He has one of the strongest legs in NKY.

That was a halftime score. Belleview didn't want to play Saturday. They were beaten every which way and wanted no more.

New Cath only had 15 yards rushing after the 1st quarter. Holy Cross D-line owned the line of scrimmage. The only thing that worked a little was the middle screen to Vicars. Got to give HC credit for winning the battle in the trenches.

The Mustangs have done a great job putting together a team. Too bad they couldn't have started a few years ago I hear the soccer goalie is a stud.

The 1st game was well played by both teams. But that was Holy Cross Freshman Team.

yes it was Brossarts whole team. Including 1 or 2 seniors
